4.5 month old suffering from fever
My 4.5 month old is suffering from fever at a range of 102 degree. Doctor said it's viral and I should wait for 4 days for it to subside and prescribed 4ml meftal p every 6 hrs . Babies weight is 8.3 kg. His fever is not coming down after 2 days also. Should I again get him checked or should I wait. Is the dosage ok for the baby. If so then why is fever not coming down.

Please get him checked again. We still don't know the cause of Fever- whether it is viral or bacterial infection.
