Fever in 2-Month-Old Infant
Hi @all, I’m writing to share a summary of my 2-month-old son's condition over the past few days: Friday, 22/8: Vomited twice post breast and formula feeding. Saturday, 23/8 (early morning): Developed fever (101°F). Administered Pyrigesic (12 drops). Temperature reduced to 98°F within an hour and remained stable until Sunday morning. Sunday, 24/8 (afternoon): Fever returned, peaking at 101°F by 3 PM. Pyrigesic given every 4–5 hours as fever recurred every 3–4 hours. Monday, 25/8: Fever recurrence interval extended to 6–7 hours. Tests: Urine and blood tests completed as advised (attached). Current medications: Pyrigesic, Superflora GG, Nasoclear Vitals and behavior: Weight: 4.8 kg Feeding: Breast and formula, no issues Activity: Alert and responsive Sleep: Intermittent Urine: Frequent Stool: Light green/yellow Please let me know if any further action is needed.
