I have 3rd metatarsal bone fracture , Dr did cast plaster and after 2 weeks they told me to do movement with body weight slowly and allow to me for job again but during travelling I got swelling in my foot and having a sensation in my foot
after 14 hrs it has slightly swelling also
is it normal or should to consult with Dr.

- Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.
- Keep a pillow under the foot.
- Avoid painful acts & activities.
- Fomentation with warm water. -Let the part not be exposed cold.
-Do mild exercises for the affected part.- foot and ankles

--. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1tab Once a day x 10 days.

I am not convinced with orthopedic surgeon allowing bearing weight on foot after 2 weeks .
Ideal to keep cast for 6 weeks followed by Partial weight bearing .
