38 weeks Pregnant
I am in my 38 weeks of pregnancy, doctors as asked me to stop taking calcium and iron tablets and advised to take only Hermin Oral as my AFI level is 8. And also advised to take more fluids. is it okay to discontinue Iron and Calcium tablet during 38 weeks of pregnancy? What is the reason? And from there frequent bathroom visits also stopped. Please advice

Your AFI is normal as you are at 38 weeks . Hermon oral is not required really .

Don know the reason to stop iron calcium.... However the is no harm if you stop medicine for few days as your delivery day is near..

Iron and calcium take 20 days for absorption so now iron / calcium can be started after delivery.
