3 doses of Thrabis rabies vaccine enoug?
My cat who hsnt been vaccinated with Rabies vaccine yet drew it's teeth in me. I got two puncture wounds and a scratch. I immediately washed it with soap and water but went to a GPN to be on the safe side. GP asked to take Thrabis Rabies vaccine of which only 3 doses are to be taken. I've taken dose one but is it safe since it's a fairly new vaccine in the market? Should I take the one with 5 doses ? Or is this ok? Do doctors prescribe this rabies vaccine or do they still go with the 5 dose one since it's new?
