Hello doctor. My father just got diagnosed with LVH.
LV mass and size is normal. Wall motion is normal too. Only the Relative Wall Thickness is increased mildly.
IVS d 1.2cm
LVID d 4.2 cm
PW d 1.1cm
Everything else in the report is normal. Tmt test is negative. Kidney and Liver reports are normal. CBC report is normal. Lipid profile is normal too. His blood sugar is normal.
Only his Blood pressure is mildly increased 145/80.
I'm very worried for his health. Is this heart condition reversible with treatment or is it permanent? Please help.
