24 weeks pregnant, need x-ray
Hello, i am currently 24 weeks pregnant, can i go for chest x-ray at this point ? Is it safe for the baby ?

if it is necessary then go through ,it won't expose your reproductive organs to radiation, and a leaded apron and collar can be worn to block any scattered radiation.. X-ray examinations on the arms, legs, or chest,dentle do not expose your reproductive organs to the direct beam. However, x-rays of abdomen, stomach, pelvis, lower back and kidneys, have a greater chance of exposure to the uterus. It is always important to let your healthcare provider know you are pregnant, if you might need an x-ray.

Hello ma'am, X Rays are hazardous for foetus. It should be avoided throughout the pregnancy.
