My 20 month old daughter has not yet begun walking but has started crawling to some extent. She is currently weighs 7kg. Are there any dietary recommendations to help her gain weight, and are there additional exercises to facilitate walking? She has also started speaking a bit.

Hello
It could also be caused by muscular disorder, the nerves that supply the muscle, or an infection. In other motor skills areas , some children have a learning disability causing a delay in walking.
The physical therapist can help those skills and build strength to start walking.
Then choose proper nutrition for growth and development. Diet follow properly.
some babies start walking a little late, how about her other activities, and take care of her nutritional needs, and feed her with food every 2 hourly.
Need to check with pediatrics neurologist its a sign for neuro disorder and she is too underweight
Please connect for diet with dietician and for her diagnosis with a doctor
