2 month baby
2 month baby not passing motion since 4 days.figolax drops already given still not pass motion.now it's 2 days...when will pass motion? Am very tensed...

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool. also straining while passing urine and stool is normal. Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Is the child taking feed normally? If yes, don't worry...the child will pass the stools within a day or two.

It is normal for babies of this age to pass stool once in 7-10 days also.
