2.5 month vaccination
Hello,
Today my 2.5 old got vaccinated
I haven't questions, need some clarification please.
1. He got injected on both thighs and there was a small bleeding on both the side. Is this fine?
2. He got vaccine shots at 11 am today and till now(8.40pm) he has not got any fewer or leg pain. Is this normal ? We opted normal injection and not the painless ones. He had got fewer within 2 hour for 1.5 month vaccination

Yes some bleeding is normal after injection.
Also, even if he doesn't get fever, it's normal.

1. Yes its fine. Should not press on the area, just gently wipe it off
2. Its not expected to get a fever. Even with the painless one (acellular), children get a fever.

1) minimal bleeding which stops if fine.
2) children do not always mount a fever response, sometimes it is just irritability/reduced feeding or mild fever around 99.5F however does not need to happen all the time
Next Steps
Monitor for above problems and can give Crocin drops as per weight for symptom relief if needed
