Hi parent It might not be pus Clean with alcohol swabs dampen dry and then You can apply Mupirocin ointment
Next Steps
Keep the area dry..if still remnants of cord appearing we term it as Umblical granuloma for which u can use Rock salt in cloth applied till dry

you can apply t bact cream locally. this cream can be applied to all three times everyday and maintain hygiene of the affected area. if there is no improvement after 3 days then kindly meet your doctor for examination and specific treatment. clean the area with soap and water

Dear parents You are mistaken, It's no pus. When cord fell for some days secretions And oozing occur Just clean with luke warm water 2to3 Times a day for 3days If extra piece of cord left than send that pic solution would be posted.
