15 months old baby
Hello Doctor, My baby is 15 months old and I still do breastfeed him. He naps once a day for 2-2.5 hrs. He keeps waking up at night every 2 hrs or so and wants to be breastfed. At times he only attaches for comfort. Please advise how can I stop this. Thanks!

Only offer water at night. Stop feeding him and do not cuddle up with him. Comfort him but don't sleep with the child. You can consider giving a favourite soft toy or blanket .

dear parents for your knowledge 100ml milk gives 70calories of energy 100ml juices give 55calories of energy and 100gm of semisolid diet gives 350calories of energy. so stop milk in day from 8amto8pm and give semisolid diet like Dal,dalia, khicdi alu kela rice, apple, upama, halwa, patolia, rab, kadi idle poha satu custard etc and from 80pmto8am give mother milk is preferable. to start with stop milk for 4hrs for 15days and give semisolid diet next 15days stop milk for 8hrs and give semisolid diet lastly stop milk from 8amto8pm and give semisolid diet. continue breastfeeding up to 2years of age.
