My 10month old had good weight gain. But from past 2 months he has been around 10kg only.
I am giving him ragi, oats, apple, banana, pear, vegetables, dal. 1-2 weeks I have started giving him more solids like dal roti, aloo tikki, besan curd cheela. 3-4 meals a day. I feed him solid till he says no on his own.
He is very active. Takes 2-3 naps a day (1-1.5hrs each). Sleeps for 10hrs at night. 2-3 feeds between sleep. 3-4 feeds during day time.
Why isn't he gaining weight?

Greetings It's common for weight gain to slow down between 6 and 12 months as babies become more mobile and active. The recent introduction of more solids might also be a factor, as it can sometimes temporarily affect feeding patterns. Since he's very active, sleeping well, and eating, he may just be in a growth phase where his weight gain has plateaued, which is normal.
It is common for the weight to plateau from 6-12 months.
As the child is active, feeding we'll, sleeping well, continue what you are doing and consult a pediatrician if he doesn't gain weight even after 1 year of age
