I delivered my baby this Feb 2020 and the journey was quite challenging as mine was a high risk pregnancy. I must thank Dr.Priyanka, the one who was with me through out the journey. I had a stage 4 endometriosis cysts that she operated (Laproscopic) two years back (2018). She immediately suggested to try IVF method for conception as normal conception might not be possible in my case. I was taken back a little and didnât know what to do. We tried for normal conception for couple of months and a second endometriosis cyst started to grow in the mean while. Later, I again went to Priyanka mam, asking her for help. She then made me understand the significance of taking IVF route. Per her instructions, I went through a complete IVF route which involved few weeks of preparation for egg retrieval, egg retrieval and finally embryo transfer. During this process, the second cyst grew even bigger and got infected as well. This became an obstacle for performing the embryo transfer. Priyanka mam wanted to get rid of the cyst before the embryo transfer, as i already had minimal chances of getting conceived and she didnât want this cyst to create any trouble. She did another surgery (Laproscopic) for removing the cyst but she was forced to remove my one ovary as the cyst has infected one full ovary (Though she tried her best retain my ovary, but due to the severity of three infection, the ovary itself was removed). Mean while, with the IVF egg retrieval results, I had formed only 2 embryos (out of 11) that were healthy enough for a transfer.
After my surgery, I was under her medication to heal enough so that she could prepare my uterus for pregnancy.
After a couple months, embryo transfer was performed and it turned out to be successful.
Right from Day 1 of pregnancy, Dr. Priyanka mam has taken utmost care in my case. I was on complete home rest until almost 7 months as per her advise as my condition demanded it. Mam was very strict about taking home rest. I followed all her instructions diligently. She exactly knew what plans best suited me. Even with all this complications, she encouraged me to stay positive and gave me so much of confidence and prepared my mind for normal delivery as well. My pregnancy became a beautiful and a memorable journey with her presence and help .
Finally the day arrived during the end of 36th week, where my water broke at 3 AM in the morning and I immediately called Priyanka mam and rushed to the hospital. She was right there at the hospital for me and started preparing things for the delivery. Due to babyâs breech position and others complications I had, mam wanted a safe delivery and performed a C-sec and helped me meet my baby boy.
I take this opportunity to thank Priyanka mam for the care she had given. With all the challenges I had, she was always there and made right decisions for me.
Without you my pregnancy journey is nothing. Thanks Priyanka mam!

My birth story goes like this :
During October, I had spotting for a week or so and were on a look for a doctor. We found a doctor and within two visits she took 2 scans and confirmed that iam not pregnant and gave a medicine to stop the spotting. To my doubtful mind, I was again on a search for a doctor. I was part of a Zumba class and Dr Priyanka too comes there. During a causal chat, she mentioned that she is a gynec and immediately I told my issue and there we started our journey :)
It was confirmed that I am pregnant and the tablets that I took for spotting started to bother me. Dr gave me and my husband complete confidence to continue the journey.
Since our previous pregnancy was a stillbirth at 42 weeks, Dr was very cautious and took care of me well. Every time after the hospital/clinic visit, we come out more positive and happy.
I used to trouble her with my set of issues like - severe back pain and not able to lie down around 22 weeks, poured boiled milk on my legs and thighs around 28th week, fell down once during my 31st week etc.
We had decided to induce around 38 weeks due to the previous history and again doctor gave us assurance that baby will be good and nothing to worry about.
Here comes the D-day
I was a bit worried that even after induction if nothing happens we may end up in c section. I was prepared for that. Also I told my husband, do not opt for epidural seeing me in pain.
Doctor came and induced me around 10.45 in the morning and baby was born at 11.27 at night. The journey was amazing. Each time when I hear the dilation centimeter, my face will droop and I start to stress. It is Dr who cheers me up saying there is a good progress even if it is from 3 to 4 after 5 hours!! That is what you want to hear at that point of time :)
We both played music throughout our labor till the baby was born. She came out listening to Hanuman Chalisa :) I had a immediate skin to skin contact and I breast fed her. My husband cut my daughter's cord.
Thanks to Dr. Without her we wouldn't have got such an amazing experience in a hospital set up.
My birth partner - my husband
He was such an amazing support when it comes to tell you when to breath and to give you massage during your early labor. During your active labor he will be your pillar of support. I was literally jumping out of the bed and he was there to support me like a rock. It is an amazing experience for the husband to see you and understand you. It helps you both to bond multifold.
Thank you Dr Priyanka for all the support:) You are an inspiration.

At 37 yrs of age me and my husband decided to have a baby... Having undergone a complete detox process at Wishing Well Healthcare, within a month I was able to conceive naturally. My pregnancy was a breeze without any morning sickness, water retention, gestational diabetes or bp challenges... However my biggest challenge was facing labour... Especially because I have always had extremely low levels of tolerance towards pain. Dr Priyanka was extremely patient and encouraged me to give natural vaginal delivery a shot... Weighing the post-op challenges of C section as opposed to a vaginal delivery... I also was determined to have a natural vaginal delivery.
My baby decided to start the labour process 17days ahead of the due date... And I was at the hospital undergoing labour which lasted almost 24 hrs. Trust me when I say that I surprised myself when I was able to go through the 24 hrs with a lot more ease than I anticipated it to be... Nature takes over and guides you so beautifully at that moment to face absolutely anything... At the same time I couldn't have done it without a wonderful Dr like Dr Priyanka who spent the entire 24 hrs at the hospital and encouraged me, supported me and guided me all the way to deliver my beautiful baby girl on the 26th of January 2018.
I'm so thankful to Dr Priyanka who insisted till the very end that I have a vaginal delivery...Even when there was a slight complication with my baby's heart rate during labour, Dr Priyanka stood by for over an hour and worked with the baby in the womb to ensure the baby and me were safe. Dr even ensured that I didn't opt for epidural early on so that the dilation process doesn't slow down which couldve otherwise resulted in a C-section. Thanks to Dr I'm thoroughly enjoying motherhood with absolutely no physical complications or post-op challenges.
I would surely encourage new mothers to give natural vaginal delivery a shot...Even for the baby, going through the labour process has a lot of advantages...as nature has meant it to be...
Trust me when I say the intensity of labour pain people as talk about is overrated...and with a lovely Dr. and a good birthing partner it is easily achievable. I had my mother and husband... Was a huge bonus there.

Im here to share my beautiful journey on pregnancy. My husband n I are married for 4 years. I had undergone 3 misscarriages due to different reasons. I was consulting a doctor in adayar then. While speaking to one of my friends who is a doctor studying in SRMC, I came to know about Priyanka mam. I then approached her during 2018 Feb. We planned for pregnancy by the month of April following a follicular study. She spoke so soothingly n positively that nothing would go wrong the next time. I gained a lot of confidence because of her. To overcome the fear on miscarrying, was easy coz of her. I luckily concieved the same month. I remember the initial days being extremely hard on me due to bleeding. Took a break from my job and was in appropriate rest till 5 months. Then started walking n yoga with a help of an instructor. Once I reached 38 weeks we planned to get induced due to my history. On Jan 9th night around 10 o clock mam induced pain for me. Around 5 in the morning dilation was only 3 cms. Started walking in the room holding my husbands hands. Adding on some tablets mam checked for the dilation around 11 am, even then dilation was just 3 cms. She then ruptured my amniotic sac for the fluid to flow out. Then my pain increased severely along with injections in drips.Priyanka mam asked me to be confident n happy about gonna see the baby soon. I started screaming in pain for epidural. Took my epdidural around 5cms of dilation by 12:30 PM. Then after managing the little pain was easy. Around 2:30 my cervix was completely dilated and assistant doctor had called for Priyanka mam. Mam arrived so quickly n I started trying to push the baby. Exactly at 2:48, my little one came out with a slender cry after 16 hours of labour. My husband smiled at me with tears in his eyes n said it's a boy. Mam had then done with my stitches. Had a happy feeling that I could deliver naturally. I would have been even better without an epidural, but that's ok... My pregnancy was fun and beautiful .And becoming a mother has been the most rewarding experience of my life .I loved every moment of it and this would not have been possible without such a supporting husband and doctor. Priyanka mam naturally has a lot of positive vibes with her and its thrown on all her patients.Wishing everyone happy labour n parenting. Thanks Almighty.

Very glad to share the birth of my little girl. I came to Dr.Priyanka by my 27th week of pregnancy, bcos i had to switch cities to be with my mom. My pregnancy journey was not smooth till then. I had a polyp (small growth near cervix),frequent urinary tract and vaginal infections. That would mean i was bleeding every other day with so many medications and was advised bed rest due to fear of pre term birth..I was working, managing household, frequenting doctor and scan centers, had mood swings and always had doubts if polyp could cause something bad. And with polyp and bed rest restrictions family thoughts were on early c section.I first consulted our doctor through phone before making a visit. She was really kind to help me clarify my doubts on polyp and UTI. She spoke like a friend and that gave a real boost to me and my family. She asked me to enjoy my pregnancy (which I could not do till then) and I really took all her words to my heart. After week 32 i started with mild walking and stretches. Now I can't believe, I had full term vaginal birth! Baby was born just one day before my expected due! During my labour I couldn't cope up with the pain by the last hour. Tried breathing and other diversions. My husband was supportive as birth partner. Our doc was there reassuring that it is the last lap of my 9 month journey and I can do it. I can surely say, medications can aid but kind words can heal. While I am getting ready for the next phase of my life,I am inspired by our Doctor. True to her name She is really kind, friendly and gave me the positive feeling to take on my pregnancy and a lesson for rest of my life, never lose hope. My words fail here to express myself..Many thanks to almighty and our doctor for being with me. đđź

To start with, Dr. Priyanka is the most friendly and the most patient doctor. She just treats you with an ever charming smile whenever you have a consultation with her and she perfectly priorities and explains every doubt.
Coming to my story, had my amniotic sac rupture (water broken) around 4am in the morning and immediately got admitted. We called Dr Priyanka over phone and she gave appropriate instructions to the duty doctor and nurses. It was my first baby and so doctor said it will take a minimum of 12 hours for me to deliver the baby normally. Every single hour my contractions increased and so my pain. But even after 12 hours my body wasn't ready to give delivery after which my pain increased exponentially and I had no patience. I started to shout for each contraction and i asked to give epidural. Most interesting part is I had a birth partner with me, that is my husband. I never imagined he can support me so much. He stood beside me throughout the process insisting me to breathe during contraction pain. I just followed him. However I couldn't tolerate my pain and I started crying and shouting hard during the last hours of delivery. Doctor rightly said to breathe and advised I will not require epidural as I already tolerated my pain very well. I then decided if I continue to shout and cry I wouldn't be able to deliver the baby. Hence I had to breathe my pain away. Finally comes my baby girl charming outside around 11.45 pm. Forgetting all my pain I just smiled when I saw her.
They say no pain no gain. That's exactly true.
With such an amazing doctor and a supportive husband I tolerated that 20 hours of labour and delivered my baby normally đ I'm such a proud mother.
Delivering baby is not the greatest fear but its the greatest achievement.
I owe this achievement to Dr Priyanka âşď¸

I had a smooth pregnancy with almost zero complications. It was a vaginal delivery and I delivered in roughly 5 hours. Didn't need an epidural either.
Like every first time mother I had my own worries and fear to encounter a vaginal delivery. So I did what ever was told to me by the doctor. Tablets gave me a break from the nausea during my first Trimester. I dint have any second thoughts about taking them as the doctor gave me a full confidence that they are safe.
The general advice that I always followed diligently was walking. I used to even spend 20 to 30 mins everyday at office for walking during my last trimester. I climbed stairs everyday ( my apt is in first floor).
Dr Priyanka always had the confidence that I would go into labor normally.
On the day of my delivery I started feeling my contractions at 9 in the morning. I immediately called Dr Priya and she asked me to come to the hospital if I even have the slightest doubt. At the hospital I was identified to be in labor. My water was broken and I was in great pain. I was crying to give me an epidural. But Dr Priya advised me very calmly that I was progressing really well and I'm going to deliver sooner than the time it would take to set me up for epidural.
She advised me not to cry while in pain and to save the energy for pushing the baby out. She reminded me to breath in and out rapidly after every contraction instead of crying. And I followed everything with all my effort. And after a struggle of roughly 5 hours I delivered a healthy baby girl weighing 3 kgs at 2.19 pm.
More than anybody my Dr was happy that I delivered normally. She was happy and proud that I did so well.
I always go to her regularly for a general checkup. Last September I had an appointment with her for having scanty periods. She advised me how it was always important to keep our vagina healthy.
Thank you Dr for guiding me and many other women out there during the most important stage of our lives.

My pregnancy journey : I met priyanka mam when I was 8th week pregnant. Before I met the mam, I was feeling a lot of anxiety & vomtings. Mam spoke with me very nicely ,she told me how to deal with anxiety and suggested good diet. I felt very comfortable with mam & after that I went for regular checkups & scanings. Every thing went ok until my 36 th week when my amniotic fluid level became low and at that time, mam tried to increase my fluid level. During that week, mam took care of me very well. She was daily following up with me about my baby movements and health condition. Starting of 37th week , I went through induced labour. I joined hospital at 9 am on 16th June and I started walking ,doing exercises with the help of my husband. At night around 8, my pains started increasing and with the help of breathing exercises, I was able to bear the pain. By morning 7 am, I went to labour room. At that time , I was not able to deal with my pains, my husband tried to calm me & he reminded me to take deep breath. Priyanka mam came at that time , she sat next to me and she spoke with me very well ( like mother). At last my baby came out naturally delivered at around 9 am . In my whole journey, priyanka mam diet & child birth classes during lockdown really helped me a lot . Mam and my husband were my strong pillars through my whole pregnancy journey. I am really thankful to priyanka mam , Kavitha mam and sneha.

My pregnancy journey : (19.7.2020 delivery date) It is after 9 years from my 1st child we have decided for the 2nd one at my age 35. However I had lot of doubts and fear in my mind and was checking for multiple doctors in the city. I came to know about Dr. Priyanka Mehta through one of my friend and consulted for first time during my 60 days of pregnancy. As usual I was sceptical on my first meeting. With her friendly approach, patiently answering to our questions she had comforted me. I slowly gained confidence. In early stages of first trimester I had light bleeding and doctor gave me some medicine and I overcame the problem. She had given instructions to me adhere and I did the same. From 4th month I suffered nerves problem as if I could not get up from bed normally, with her medication and basic exercise I overcame that too! I was highly scared when days are nearing by and still I am not confident! I did not miss any of the consultation even during the corona lockdown!! I started my exercise little late during my 7th month. Doctor taught me squat exercise, breathing techniques and butterfly, Sumo squat, regular walking for atleast 30 mins daily which I practiced!! Still I had my fear and I am not confident!! Had doubt, how this is going to help me? On 18th July evening (38th Week) around 6:45 PM my water broke called Doctor and she advised to get admitted and I got admitted by 8 PM, my fear was high and not sure what is next. Dr. Priyanka Ma'am instructed the duty doctor and staff nurse over phone on the procedures and sharply by eleven o clock I was induced pain by around 1:30 am Dr. Priyanka Ma'am had came to attend me. She was very caring and politely told "Nothing to fear and Nothing to worry" and by 2:18 in early Sunday morning I was able to have normal vaginal delivery baby boy who had broke all my fear. Really from the bottom of my heart I wish to extend my humble thanks to our beloved Doctor and Thank you so much for making my such a beautiful and memorable experience. Really I wish to recommend Doctor to my dearest. She is very caring and gave correct advice by listening to our doubts patiently. You made my pregnancy journey a memorable one .As far as I know Doctor you are the best ! I Pray almighty for giving you enormous strength to continue your good work ! There are no words to express still ! Thank you so much Doctor!!
