Varsha's ONP, Sterling Road

I've been living with IBD since 2014. It's been close to 10 years and I wasn't able to find out my comfort food which could help me during flare ups. Because of this, my condition too got very bad and I wasn't able to step out of my home for the past three years. After going through all these I came to a conclusion that it's not just the medicine but the food and the lifestyle change which would actually improve my condition. After going through lots of blogs and interactions with various nutritionist/dietician, they were not aware about how to work with people having conditions like IBD. Through podcasts and various searches I came across ONP led by MS. Varsha Easwaran and her team. Had a conversation with her and explained my condition clearly. Out of all the other people I have contacted regarding my problem, she was the one who had a better idea about the disease first and then my condition. Having heard from various health influencers who suggested eating vegetables which were being imported to our country, she was one of the very few people who asked me to take the native vegetables. That's when I had the trust over her approach and signed up for a 4 month program. Being affected by IBD it's very difficult to gain weight once it's lost drastically. In the past 4 months I gained close to 8kg which is an achievement with people having IBD and that too with normal diet regime with whichever is available and no weight gain supplements. Now I have a rough idea about how to behave during a flare up in terms of food and mindfulness.

People like me who have IBD and have no idea about what to do with food and nutrition, ONP is the best place to look for your answers.

My 4 month program was tailor made for me with Coach Meera, who was there to explain and give suggestions on anything that I asked for. She kept in track of my meal, sleep, water intake and slight physical activities. Since IBD as a disease is very sensitive, the approach to understand has to be very slow and minimalistic. If one small thing goes wrong you'll be back to square one. Luckily with the help of her I was able to identify my safe food habits. Big thanks to her since she was very patient with every question that I had asked.

If the person working with us gives the positive intent and pushes us to achieve our goals, that's where we get the initial confidence and everything else will follow in place.

For that I am really grateful for the attention that I received from my Coach Meera. Myself and my mom wish her the best in her futures endeavors and everyone who are associated with the organization.

Enrolled with ONP to focus on my chronic condition.

Program started with a very detailed questionnaire on daily habits, restrictions,lifestyle, and some markers.

A very detailed nutritional guide with variety of recipes were shared.

The program was kickstarted by a detailed call explaining on various aspects of the nutrition plan with why's and how's. My coach Adithi is proactive, understanding and a delight to work with!

She has constantly shared her feedbacks and helped me in understanding my plate. This has helped me to plan my meals better.

She answers all the queries at the earliest. Her way of coaching is also commendable. She gave me the freedom to plan and choose, and gave feedbacks which helped me better my meals.

This plan helped me continue the same diet, with focus on portions and macros.

Got very good results on my sugar levels, which are in normal range after 3 years. My weight loss is also sustainable.

My doctor is also very happy with my results.

This plan is something which can be followed throughout as there are not many restrictions.

I've always been very sceptical about diets because of how restrictive they can be. I also have heard from so many people that such diets are not sustainable, and realistically it's very difficult to continue without support. But all that changes once I started my nutrition journey with ONP. I've been with them for 3 months now and this has definitely one of the best decisions I've taken for my health. My nutrition coach, Meera, is truly the kindest and the most supportive person. I couldn't have asked for a better coach. All my progress is because of her patience and support! The main thing I like about ONP is the the way they have educated me about my food need, that helps me make better decisions when I go out to eat. This education also gives me the confidence to continue staying on the protocol after my time with them is over. Each of their team member has been extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process. They make dieting seem so easy and doable, without making you me feel guilty for the days I slip and gently bringing me back on course. I couldn't recommend them enough!
