I met with Dr. Uma to get help with a few issues pertaining to managing my emotions, specifically anxiety, anger, and certain depressive emotions. Dr Uma worked with me for weekly hour-long sessions over a period of 7-8 months to both provide insights into the origins and purpose of these emotions, and provide a few useful tools to assist with managing them. She's a keen listener and knowledgeable practitioner, perfectly capable of not just problem-solving but also explaining the roots of these problems and communicating how her recommendations can help in a clear way. Following my sessions with Dr. Uma I've been able to keep a lid on negative emotions and develop healthy ways to feel and express emotions in general. She was truly a great help during my time of need, and I would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated guide through their mental health journey.

We were referred to Uma, when our 14yr was in her lowest of lows and was going through severe anxiety problems. Though our child was put through counselling therapy prior to approaching Uma, we found that Uma could strike a better rapport with her and gradually directed her to better mental health.
During the whole process Uma guided us on what the situation is and what to expect and how to handle her situation. She always got back on any query whenever we texted her.
Thanks to her intervention our child is in a much much better .
Uma ma'am has been a great & a major support in helping me get through hard times. I was not clear about how sessions would help me, until I met her and talked things through. Uma ma'am is kind, friendly, witty , approachable and can put us at ease real fast. She is very positive and encouraging. She builds interesting conversation subjects to ease us out and help open up which sums upto the effort she contributes to help her patients. I personally felt her approach was quite unique and practical - on hearing about concerns. Uma ma'am tailored exercise to my personal needs and they were not just generic solutions.Therapy sessions are not just about venting and getting over with issues temporarily, rather solutions to handle them permanently. Uma ma'am is helping me figure out things as well as to sort out them.
I consulted with Uma madam for my anxiety and depression related issues. I met her with low self esteem and confidence. She listened and understood my situation. She gave me a different and positive perspective about my life. She gave me the support for leading my life with confidence and to be more energetic. Her approach and communicative way of handling me is really appreciable. She gave me methods and techniques to handle my difficult situations and they are working. I was in a dilemma when I reached out to Uma. In many instances, we know what is happening with us is not right. However, we stay put for the lack of clarity and most times a moral obligation. Uma was able to assess the situation thoroughly and gave that advice which I follow to date.
I do not think twice to refer and recommend Uma to my friends or family members whenever there is a need for an expert advice. One of my friends who had consulted was happy with the outcome. I totally recommend you speak to Uma any time in need of advice for Psychological problems/ confusions.
Getting started with therapy was in itself a big challenge for me. There were notions in my head like therapy makes you weak, it leads to developing a victim mindset and that it causes you to put fingers for all your challenges on others. But, after having a few sessions with Mrs. Uma, I realised that this is exactly what therapy is not. Yes, it shows you your weaknesses but with the strengths you have to overcome them. Yes, it tries to find the source of your issues but with a mindset of accepting and letting it go. It makes you see the emotional fog which is all around you but it also helps you to find a ray of hope which you can follow to get through. Therapy might not be a life altering phenomenon but in the process of life, it enables you to laugh, cry, feel and live a little more.
