Hi Prajakta,

I want to start by saying thanks. Then I wonder, how little a word this is to tell someone who might have turned your world around. Something similar of an experience I have had in the past year after I started visiting you.

I was struggling with mental health issues for almost past 4 years, what issues? beyond the scope of this post. A friend of mine was short listing therapists for me, after going through dozens of profiles, I came across yours and in one moment of looking at your picture, I'd somehow known, you'd listen. Although you did much more than just listening and as a result I am here, weiting this. Whatever positive turn my life has taken in the past year, I owe a part of it to you. Things in my life haven't changed much but how I am looking at them and sailing through them has changed with an angle of 180°.

So here, I'd continue with a lots of thank Yous.

Thank you for listening carefully without even slightest of judgement, I mean that's why I could tell so much.

Thank you for considering all angles of the problem before jumping straight to the solution as I felt, a lot of the issues were in part stemming from my biological imbalance, which you were quick to point out and get fixed.

Thank you for somehow knowing how to open me up, as I'm not a kind who easily spits things off.

Thank you for instilling self esteem and confidence in me.

Thank you for walking step by step along with me in unearthing the root of things. I remember coming blank with some issues in front of you and coming out with a discovery about my own self. I learnt to study myself, and that's a treasure.

The best part of the whole journey was, you never tried to handhold me in crossing my puddles, you enabled me to do that myself. You didn't solve my problems for me, you showed me how could I do it myself. You taught me how to catch a fish and that's enough for a lifetime. After almost a year of the journey, I can confidently say, I have started to pick it up quite well. I own my behaviours, my engagements with people, my thoughts. These days, there are less of, "I don't know why"s and more of "ohh, this is why"s. (Only you can relate 😅).

When I called for the closer, I was more happy that you were happy to see me Happy and I'll keep doing it. Also, thanks for assuring me that all this was not a fling or a phase, but the result of working on myself. I'll keep working on myself while remembering that It is okay to fall back sometimes and will reach out again if I forgot a technique or two 🙃.

I am grateful and moreover now I truly understand what being grateful means, again thanks to YOU!🙂

Hello everyone, I am Pokarn Narkhede. I have been suffering from OCD since 2014. As you all know that OCD is a very common disorder nowadays and if it is not treated properly, the consequence may be very dangerous. When I got trapped into OCD, i was not aware regarding it and gradually it got bad and my life was almost got destroyed as my performance in studies and my daily living got extremely affected as intensity of symptoms of OCD was very high. I got to know regarding M/s Prajakta Raibagi that she offers counseling regarding OCD. Trust me guys, I highly recommend Prajakta for OCD counselling or any other counselling as she is very patient, honest, maintains privacy between patient and family, efficient understanding of the problem and offers precise solution to the problem, and many more qualities she possess. From my experience with Prajakta, i am very much confident with her and I take regular counselling of OCD and regarding any other issues from her. She charge reasonable price hourly basis and offers quality counselling throughout consultation. Her suggestions, tips and advices are very much effective if one follows to it and easily one get rid of OCD problem out of it gradually. The most important thing about Prajakta is she is very kind and helpful in nature and Patient or anyone who is seeking counselling with her can comfortably trust her and share issues with her. Also, She conducts counselling in a systematic manner due to which I feel very much satisfied with her. My partner and I consulted Prajakta because we were stressed in our toxic relationship. We fought constantly and were always finding flaws in each other. Yet, we didn't have the courage to leave each other and considered therapy as our last resort. It was definitely a good decision as it not only helped us understand each other but also understand ourselves individually. I have worked with Prajakta for around 6 months.

Prajakta made me realise that how my simple unconscious choice of words may actually adversely impact others around me. She helped me enhance my emotional vocabulary. I understood the difference between thoughts, feelings and behaviours. With this knowledge, I now try to put my feelings into words before I begin to act on them. I have gained a sense of self that I didn't before and I've begun to love myself for who I am. This has reduced my emotional dependence on my partner and I now do not feel helpless when I imagine a life without him. This is certainly a plus point for our relationship because we are able to give each other space and connect and understand each other better while being able to care for ourselves.

Prajakta didn't solve my problems and these realisations didn't come to me immediately or even a while after we had stopped with the sessions. But, working with her had enabled me in a way that these realisations gradually kicked in and I was able to pull myself through a particularly difficult phase in my life and focus on my happiness.

Prajakta is a great mentor. She uses lucid stories and examples to introduce different psychological concepts in the sessions. She's very accommodating about the session times and doesn't abruptly end the session even if an ongoing topic spills over. She would ask me tough questions in the sessions often and that made me uncomfortable sometimes but looking back at the discomfort, I realised it had much to do with my insecurities and that gave me a different kind of understanding. (However, I do think it would have helped in the moment if she was a little more friendly! :) ) I particularly want to thank Prajakta for a time when she was available for me as a friend, literally just a text away to help me cope when it got difficult to handle alone.

Prajakta used to give us little tasks or tools to practice between sessions. A little recommendation that I would leave for Prajakta from my experience is to follow up more on those tasks because I've been using them frequently now and I find them extremely useful and I think I would have benefitted much more from discussing more about these tasks in the sessions.

All in all, therapy with Prajakta was a great experience for me. I am much more aware as a person and I able to be enough for myself and more easily make responsible choices that make me happy. I would definitely recommend her!

Prajakta helped me cope with the lowest phase of my life, which I was clearly not equipped to handle on my own. I was in a phase where I was feeling trapped and suffocated in my relationship, would cry at every little disagreement, had extreme expectations, judged everybody, my partner and myself for every lack of attention, felt unimportant & unloved. Eventually thinking too much about purpose and existence. Had way too many sticky thoughts and was super anxious to quickly find out what was wrong with me since I have family history of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

From the onset of very first session, Prajakta made me feel comfortable by asking the right questions, unlayering the deeper issues. I left the session feeling confident that whatever I was suffering was manageable, and through right type of analysis and exercises could be improved.

Though I would leave the session feeling confident, When on my own I would still get overwhelmed with every negative thing happening around me or we should say everything felt negative to me. But one thing was clear, the sessions were giving me tools to cope up better.

So I continued with the sessions, learned a lot about myself & how to manage difficult situations better.

The best part is when you are talking to her, she logically breaks the issue, questions your set beliefs and helps you look at it from a multiple perspectives.

At the same time, She would never judge your behaviour, but question it wherever required. You can very easily open up to her and literally talk to her about all your anxieties and any issues under the Sun.

Taking these regular sessions have improved my health a lot. Am super thankful for having found this amazing Counselor. Thank her every time I am able to handle the same siatuations much better which used to overwhelm me.

Ms. Prajakta provides a committed and focused listening, which many a times is difficult to get even from close friends. Meeting her and speaking out my mind/heart has helped me to get back to work/home, feeling much lighter.

She has a mastery in the subject and provides a non-judgmental listening. She asks the right questions, provides the most appropriate exercises that unravels the solutions themselves.

This has helped me in articulating many of my challenge areas, and I am able to create solutions to my challenges by myself with more clarity and comfort.

Obvious Results: I am focused and more productive at work, my dream projects are getting materialized, my relationships with the people around me is very pleasant, I see myself in prominent leadership positions in my work for my country!

After interacting with her, I am left with the experience: "It is a great day, I treated myself really well!"

I had approached Prajakta initially to seek counseling for post partum depression. I found the sessions to be extremely helpful in managing my depression. Later, I have sought counseling on marriage and interpersonal relationships in my 6 year association with Prajakta. Together, we have worked on my anger management and CBT also. Prajakta has been very sensitive, observant and patient throughout all the sessions. . She has been an excellent mentor, holding my hand through the perseverance and brought about my transformation through self discovery.

Ms. Prajakta is very honest and sincere with her work. She is very warm with her clients and listens to them very patiently. It helps the clients to open up and discuss the issue with out any hesitation. She is well versed with all the counselling methods and techniques. She helps the clients to become emotionally independent and encourages them to handle the stressful situations. Her motto is to help clients to improve their overall mental health. I would surely recommend her for family/ child counselling services.

I consulted Dr. Prajakta for exam related stress issues for my daughter.

Dr. Prajakta held numerous sessions with my daughter to understand her problems and gave her various techniques to overcome her anxiety. I can see great difference in my daughter now and I am really happy with the progress she has made. I see my daughter more confident about exams. Dr. Prajakta kept us Parents regularly updated on her progress and also told us to get in touch with her anytime for any further help. I thank Dr. Prajakta for all her support.

My experience with Prajakta Raibagi as my psychotherapist was much satisfactory indeed. I saw many therapists before for my clinical depression & OCD etc. and was surely satisfied with her approach in every way.. regarding her talk, the addressing of my chronic problem and the solutions altogether. I always feel deeply inspired after every session with her & equally aligned to practice the solutions given by her. I must say i find myself improving by her treatment. I would like to mention that with Prajakta I had taken all Online Sessions as we stay in different towns, but I am much more satisfied with her than any face to fav6e sessions with other therapist. We met with Ms. Prajaka for my 10 year old daughter who was going through some unknown fear related issues. She was very friendly, made my daughter feel at easy and explained to us what we as parents had to do. She is very patient and took time to understand the issue and suggested multiple approaches that we could try. She has deep knowledge of her area of expertise and is able to bring her experience in every interaction that we had with her. It also made us less anxious as parents knowing that others have gone through similar issues and have come out of those issues successfully.
