Dr. Anindita Majumdar Bhattacharya is a women’s health physiotherapist. In her previous stint with Cloudnine hospitals, she was heading the department of physiotherapy. She has vast clinical experience and has extensively worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, CTVS, Orthopedics and Intensive Care Units. She has also been into academics at various medical colleges.Dr. Anindita Bhattacharya has completed her MPT after her BPT. Having a special focus on ergonomic assessment and postural analysis. 1. From the very first day, due to her approachable behavior, was able to establish a very cordial relationship.
2. Is a very patient listener.
3. Always did a hands-on while demonstrating the various exercises.
4. Very responsive and communicable over email.
5. Goes to a great extent to explain the problems as in why, what and how regarding the condition with hand drawn diagrams and various posters.
6. Doesn't look at the clock during a session. Never felt like being hurried through the sessions.

I went in for back pain. Anindita made me very comfortable. She took time to get all details about me and my pain points. She taught me exercises to strengthen my back and gave me quick posture corrections to be followed throughout my day. I really liked the way Anindita gave attention to every detail I shared. I also got the diet recommendations and had a very hearty chats about the health fads etc. Motivated by all the positive enforcement from Anindita I'm hoping to get healthier soon. Thanks doc!

*** ** *** **** ********. Post delivery,I had such severe back pain and pain in my palms that I thought,I would never get rid off. I had put on lot of weight as well. So ,i thought it was impossible. I consulted Aninditha and shre suggested me,very very few simple exercises to start with. The exercises turned out to be a miracle.My pain reduced just in a day. She also told me not to get too concious about my overvweight and jump into the process etc.,which made me mentslly feel a lot better. She asked me to go slow and I believe thats how it should. One can blindly trust her!

Dr. Anindita Bhattacharya explained the process of labour, excercises, Lamaze breathing in such an effective and positive manner. She spoke with us for almost one hour and thirty minutes! It was a very very helpful visit and she has helped me gain confidence to go through the impending labour. Her knowledge and approach are very scientific and also very empathetic. Being very thorough in her practice she is also very communicative and friendly and one can ask her any doubts and questions, i.e in case she has not already covered them! (she would have already answered all your questions in anticipation). She also gave a lot of confidence to my husband and how exactly he could contribute during labour. I highly recommend expecting couples to consult Dr. Bhattachraya to make their journey happier and healthier.

This was one of the most helpful and informative classes we got during my pregnancy. She was very thorough and answered all the questions we had. Also provided with reading material to revise later at home. Totally recommend having this class with Dr Anindita if it's your first pregnancy or probably even with second. It made me feel more prepared for what's coming.
The only issue as with any other Cloudnine services is waiting time. The hospital does not care about appointment times at all even though before each appointment they keep reminding to show up on time. There has always been a wait time exceeding at least half an hour beyond appointment time and this time it was not an exception.

We first came across her at the MBA (Management of Baby Affairs) program at Cloud 9. We were so impressed by her articulation & expertise - that we decided to go for a dedicated one-on-one session immediately afterwards. From explaining signs of labour, normal/urgent/emergency situations & what to do, lamaze breathing, right massages & postures to progress labour and manage pain - She did such an amazing job in making us understand in simple language, with notes & illustrations. We were reading a lot online and watching Youtube videos, but her session helped us integrate all of it into a solid plan. As first timers - Both me and my husband came out of the session feeling confident & ready for the impending labour/delivery. Thank you doctor!

She guided me through my pregnancy cramps, muscle stiffness, severe pelvic pain, lamaze techniques which helped during labor and postnatal recovery stretches and exercises to relieve muscle cramps and foot pain. She understands patient's lifestyle and day-to-day activities and prescribes exercises and postures accordingly. Her advice is practical to follow and very effective.
Besides, she is easily approachable in person and on email. She also goes over and beyond her specialty and gives sound guidance on everything related to maternity, baby physical health and fitness in general.

We visited Dr Anindita for Lamaze session for my wife. She explained the process of labor , excercises and breathing techniques throughly. She was very thorough in her practice and very communicative and answered all our questions. She spent good enough time to explain and demonstrate each excercise to us and helped my wife to perform them too . Very friendly in nature that make you feel comfortable while talking to her. Also provided reading material s and excercise images through mail to revise them later.She gave a lot of confident to me and my wife and explained me how can i support my wife during labor. It was a very helpful and informative session.

*** ******** ** ** *** *** **** ****** * **** ********** She is considerate, listens to your problems patiently, is never in a hurry to wrap up the session, gives an extremely good demonstration along with an explanation which leaves you feeling confident.
I have been consulting her right from the beginning of my pregnancy for pregnancy induced sciatica and backache. Her approach is so methodical that you would grasp the exercises the first time itself.
Thanks to her, my sciatica improved greatly and needless to say during my last month of pregnancy, it is almost negligible. I recently attended Lamaze session with her, it was such an informative session. It has eased my nervousness related to labour pain. I hope I am able to heed her advice and benefit from it.

I visited Dr. Anindita for the first time almost at the end of my 2nd trimester. She was extremely helpful and gave proper explanations on the various exercises I should be doing during this time that would help during the labor period too. She demonstrated the exercises and helped me perform them too to help me in my understanding. She also gave me tips on breathing and sleeping positions that would be optimum for me and the baby's health.
Dr. Anindita was very positive in her approach and made me feel calm and confident.
I would definitely recommend her to any to-be-mums and wish I had gone to her earlier in my pregnancy itself.
