We consulted with Dr Anand Chavan for my son Ashwin who had completely torn his ankle ligaments when he had a fall in November this year.

Firstly we called the Dr over the weekend as my son Ashwin was in excruciating pain. Although the Dr was on travel and out of town, he immediately responded and directed us to the diagnostic centre and made immediate diagnosis and suggested actions to provide immediate pain relief until he returned to town the next day.

Next day when we met Dr Chavan in person and after reviewing the images, he discussed and debated with us the pros and cons of the prognosis- surgery vs no surgery, what are the risk of each course of action, probability of recovery, cost impact, etc. We jointly arrived at what needed to be done.

Soon thereafter he swung into action and made arrangements for immediate surgery even though it was on Diwali. He sacrificed his own time with the family to attend to the call of his patient. This is outstanding devotion to the profession over personal commitments. The surgery was very well done and my son is on the path to full recovery.

We would strongly recommend Dr Chavan to others. His knowledge and expertise, his ability to breakdown the diagnosis and share it with science and simplicity with his patients, deciding on the course of action jointly and in collaboration with his patients are some very unique qualities of Dr Chavan. His confidence building ability, friendliness and his track record ***** *** *** ** *** **** ** *** ****** He is a great pairs of hands any patient could be in. We hope others enjoy similar success under his care and profession as we were fortunate to have.

Dr Chavan also treats my mother and it is so rewarding to see how my mother responds to his asks of her. She is very aged.

My 4 years old Daughter fell down and we noticed that her elbow , rushed to Dr Anand Chavan, he was about to drive his car, and he stopped for the moment, we requested him that my daughter has to be administered immediately, without second thought on his mind he parked the car and rushed in, the reason behind saying this that the need of the helping hand is required at any point of time, I am very happy to say that Dr. Anand Chavan was there with us treating my kudo at the need of the hour.

I have been treated by Dr Chavan earlier for Golf iswing induced knee joint edema satisfactiorily and thus time I visited for opinion on bicondylar tibial fracture reduction by another surgeon for a second opinion to assess recovery stage and further advise.

I find his summary findings and overall aproach to be quite comforting and factual, which was better than the surgeon who operated on me in a top tier hospital.

His interest in patient welfare is unique and friendly. A bit rare indeed.

One can go with severe pain but the moment you meet Dr Anand Chauhan you start feeling better. He has been my mother’s Ortopedic for more number of years than I can count !!! He bettered my mom’s life by treating her with love and excellent medical treatment !!!!
