Veena has volunteered at the Spastics Society of Karnataka with children with developmental disabilities as a teaching assistant and scribe. Her undergraduate internship was at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. She also experimented with music therapy, utilizing music to help her clients express themselves.
