Ms. Veena Nobbay

Veena Nobbay is a Psychotherapist with experience working with a diverse range of client populations. She graduated from Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at New York University with a Masters degree in Counselling for Mental Health and Wellness in May 2015. Prior to joining Seraniti, she worked in New York as a part-time Psychotherapist at the Advanced Center for Psychotherapy, Forest Hills, and part-time at the Jewish Community Center, with their Center for Special, Needs as a program coordinator for people with developmental disabilities. Veena has volunteered at the Spastics Society of Karnataka with children with developmental disabilities as a teaching assistant and scribe. Her undergraduate internship was at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. She also experimented with music therapy, utilizing music to help her clients express themselves.
