Dr. Shruthi K is a fetal medicine specialist empanelled at the Cloudnine Hospital in Bangalore.for the past 10 years. Dr Shruthi K , Obstetrician Gynaecologist ,Maternal – fetal medicine specialist with interest in fertility treatment .She completed her MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences .Later she completed her Masters in obstetrics and gynaecology from JJM Medical College Davangere .She has worked as resident in tertiary obstetric units at Manipal Hospital (old airport road ) ,Vanivilas Hospital and ESIC hospital and has gained a lot of experience .With keen interest in academics she has pursed her Fellowship in Maternal- fetal Medicine ,RGUHS under the mentorship of Padmashri.Dr Kamini Rao and Dr Prakash Mehta ,well renowned Maternal -Fetal medicine consultant. With keen interest to understand the mysteries of in-utero life she has pursued her Fellowship in Advanced Obgyn ultrasound from Mediscan, Chennai a tertiay referral Fetal care centre in India.Obtained a certificate course in genetics from SGPGI ,Lucknow.Her area of interest in fetal therapy she has undergone training in fetal procedures from Canada. She believes in providing evidence based care and follows ethical practices to her patients.She has been working as fetal medicine consultant at Sparsh and People tree hospital. Presently working as FETAL medicine consultant at Cloudnine hospital for past 10 years .She has expertise in performing advanced pregnancy scans – Early pregnancy ,FMF ( UK ) certified in performing NT scans ,Anomaly scan, Counselling for fetal abnormalities ,Complicated TWINS SCANS, Fetal ECHO scans, 3D- 4D scans ,Fetal growth and doppler scans. Competant in managing high risk pregnancies.Has successfully performed several fetal invasive procedures like amniocentesis, CVS ( Chorionic Villus Sampling ), Fetal Reduction and Intrauterine fetal Transfusion.She is competent in advanced pelvic scans like mapping of Fibroid uterus, Polycystic ovaries scan, Endometriosis grading scans, 3 D pelvic scans for uterine abnormalities and ovarian cysts, Follicular monitoring for timing of ovulation induction and IUI.She has undergone training in infertility from the pioneers in the field like Dr Kamini Rao and obtained fellowship in reproductive medicine .Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy traning from Dr B Ramesh She has given lectures at various conferences at state and national levels and published articles in journals and text book .Executive Commmite member of Society of Maternal – Fetal medicine india and striving to improve maternal - fetal care and to help couples struggling with fertilty issues healthy babies .
