Dr. Sharanya’s granduncle was a vet who worked in Brunei for the King and also her inspiration to pursue her studies as a veterinarian in 2011 from Bombay Veterinary College. In 2013, she completed her masters from Thrissur Veterinary College in Kerala. After finishing her studies, she joined Blue Cross Society in Pune as a veterinarian for a year. “I enjoyed it and handling the entire IPD, Surgery and OPD gave me an insight into being a complete veterinarian rather than just working in one department.” she says as she recalls her time with Blue Cross Society. When asked about veterinary medicine in India she says “Specializations are required now and growing your skills in one area. Additionally, I would like to see more medical students looking at veterinary medicine as an opportunity and join the field. I would also like to see more animal hospitals in remote areas."

The clinic said they don’t take appointments on practo and asked me to download some other app instead. I told them it’s a medical emergency for the pet. These people are insensitive *** *** ***** * ****** *** ** ***** I don’t recommend them. Please go to a doctor that will care for your pet genuinely.
