Dr. Sangeetha Sivaraman

Dr. Sangeetha Sivaraman is a highly qualified and empathetic doctor. She believes in ethical practice and is very passionate about delivering quality patient-driven care to patients. She completed her MBBS from JJMMC Davangere (2006-2011), where she was lauded for her enthusiasm and involvement in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from JNMC, Belgaum (2013-2015), where she was appreciated for her efforts during various outreach camps. She completed her DNB (2015-2017), at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital, under the guidance of Dr. Prakash Mehta, where she was trained extensively in Maternal Fetal Medicine and High-risk HDU care. Following her postgraduation, she worked at Gandhinagar Civil Hospital in Gujarat, which boasts 800-900 monthly deliveries. She had in-depth surgical exposure to handling extremely critical cases and was involved in the first few Laqshya prototype healthcare models in India. She worked as a senior resident at Ambedkar Medical College before moving to private practice. She has previously worked as a consultant at Koshys Hospital, Ramamurthy Nagar and Acura Hospital, Koramangla. She is methodical and meticulous at her work and deeply understands critical care. Despite being passionate about fitness, she has inspired several women to lead healthy lives despite her busy schedule. Her mission has been to stay current, and she is highly motivated to update her skills, as medicine is an ever-evolving field. Gifted with interpersonal skills and a flair for writing, and public oration, she has delivered various talks on social media (@theshetalksdoc) on topics she truly cares about, like postpartum mental health. An avid reader and a Vipassana practitioner, and a self-help junkie, she can be found reading the latest productivity hack, how to meditate, and find the true meaning of life.
