Today, we took my daughter to see a child psychiatrist because she was showing some signs of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The doctor listened to us carefully and asked my daughter questions to understand her thoughts better. She took notes of everything we said and suggested ways to reduce the intensity of her symptoms and prevent them from coming back. One of the suggestions was to engage in more physical activities, which we agree could help because it has helped my daughter manage her anxiety few times. We found that the doctor's analysis of my daughter's personality was mostly accurate, and we are hopeful that following her suggestions will help my daughter avoid her from Obsessive-Compulsive thoughts .

Very nice clinic with the staff. Dr. Yesheswini is very good child psychiatrist consultant. She observed our ten year old son and listen to our problems thoroughly. We had a very good interaction with the doctor and we are very glad to have further procedures to be done under her guidance.

The doctor explained to my child on how to cope with anxiety. She took a lot of time to patiently explain on what is the root cause of the anxiety attacks and how to effectively counter it. We are very satisfied as she addressed the problem very effectively

Visited For Child and Adolescent Problems
We went to Dr. Yesheswini since our child's neurologist referred us to her as he suspected ADHD( Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in our child. We went there with great hopes; however all our hopes were drowned very soon!! It was not worth the time, money or energy. All she did was gather the behavioral aspects of our child from us and fit it into ADHD. She didn't try to speak to the child, her patient nor try to understand his psyche. She referred us to some more specialists and as such didnt give any counseling/guidance to us (parents) on how to deal with the problem. Seemingly, her focus is more towards child's academic performance rather than the overall development!! Ourselves being double graduates (myself M. S. and husband M. D.) strongly believe that overall development of the child is primary and education secondary. She was advocating the idea that speaking in native language hinders the education of the child!! Yeah, if this idea was true, European countries like France/ Germany would have been underdeveloped countries!!
There is a network of schools/ doctors referring her.
If you feel your child is hyperactive, don't invest your time in coming here; you'll not find a solution here. You probably have to run around a few more therapists, still not sure if the problem can be resolved. Instead, spending more time with the child ourselves is a better idea. That will definitely work!!

She listens to your problems attentively and focused on finding solutions to the problem. I feel comforted by her words and reassured that every thing is going to be okay, which is very important in any doc- patient relationship.
Visited For ADHD
Doctor Yesheswini, is one of the best Doctors you could find in Bangalore for Kids with ADHD.
Dr. is very patient, she understands all the issues well, and explains the problem in details. She never gives up on any patient, no matter how many times you go back to her with questions. She gives medication only when and if required.
A good doctor who understand kids with different abilities. And who educates parents, teachers and families how to accept and handle these kids with love and patience..
We have taken Dr. Yesheswini's help with respect to our daughter who had trouble adjusting in Indian school system when we came back from US. Dr. Yesheswini has always been helpful and very supporting in helping our daughter. From the point she refused to go to school in 4th grade to the point she is excelling in academics in 12th grade, my daughter has done very well. Whenever she had setbacks over years, Dr. Yesheswini has been there to help. One thing I always appreciate, is that the amount of time she spends with every patient with a genuine concern to help.
