Dr. Praveen Baliga

Excellent doctor. Agreed that he is very quick in seeing patients, may look like he is in a hurry, but his way of treatment and the medicines he prescribes work very well. He does not recommend unnecessary medicines/medical tests without proper investigation or giving it some time. I travel close to 10Km to show my kids to him amidst of Bangalore's traffic. So, you can imagine I wouldn't do this without a sense of satisfaction.

Dr Praveen Baliga has been both my children's go to doctor since 2009 onwards. My son was having breathing difficulty and needed immediate (not extremely urgent) attention. Doctor was quick in giving advice and later in an hour or two he called me up for detailed enquiry. My son is recovering now. Medication seems to be working well. Thank you!

Honestly, as parent of a kid I would like to avoid this doctor.

- Does not hesitate to prescribe antibiotics to toddlers. There are kids, whose parents take care and luckily go to some good doctors, avoid antibiotics till the age of 6 or 9 years. If you go to this doctor no chance. This is the major feedback I feel and also told to me by almost 4-5 colleagues who lived in Thippasandra/JB Nagar area for 10-15 years.

- Little arrogant

- Not polite

- Not accomodative/considerate

- Does not want to help in off hours even if you are in very much need

very bad experience. Doctor has no patience to attend. He not even listening parents words. we went for fever, he not even cheked the Temperature.He ****** prescribe paracetamol drops. ** ** ****** *** **** **** ************ ** ***** *** ***** we asked him to check with stethoscope. And the fever and cold remains same for four days. Later we went to *** Hospital for checkups. my second visit makes me more anger. we forgot to take the chart of vaccinations.Because of transfer from Chennai. He is more anger and shouting **** **** **** ***** He is Blaming ours after we came out of the room. This doctor doesn't know to polite to tell the reason for the Danger of giving vaccinations without chart. He sarted shouting and fighted with us. hereafter I will never go to there even for emergency purpose.

very good doctor starts with very light medicines.*** ********* ** **** *********.i am consulting with him for my son since 2011 and i never had to go second time to him.

Very nice Doctor and ****** **** **** ********* *** never write unnecessary medicines. Also keep you informed about precautions.

The doctor is extremely curt and in a hurry to wrap up the consultation. Hurriedly and mechanically explained the medicines, precautions etc. Was not interested in listening to our concerns and symptoms. For a pediatrician, the doctor is extremely unfriendly. One of the medicines he prescribed, was mentioned as "unsuitable for kids under 2 years" on Practo. Did not get a lot of confidence from the doctor, so stuck to home remedies instead.

The doctor is very quick in giving his suggestions/care instructions - so you need to be very attentive (tricky with a sick child), but I have found him very reliable in terms of vaccinations and appropriate dosage of medicines. I even got my daughter's ear piercing done by him 5 years ago. And her most recent DTP vaccination was also smooth. He cheered up the kid with a candy and spinner :D

Nice doctor. friendly approach while explaining. No waiting time required. Child felt better in one day
