He believes most of the fever in kids is viral in origin hence doesn’t require antibiotics especially in the first few days of fever. He always takes a detailed history and does a thorough clinical examination before starting antibiotics in Children with Fever. Doctor is really very good, knowledgeable,compassionate and calm. He listens to the issues and explains the root causes very well. The medicines provided are always upto the mark, situation based and depends on the baby previous health backgrounds. Always explains or answers all the questions or concerns in a very much understandable manner to the parents with great patience . We have been visiting Dr. Baliwanth right from the newborn stage of our baby. He was always approachable and responsive for all the urgent queries as well.
Overall we definitely recommend the doctor for anyone who is looking for a good, trusted paediatrician.

Doctor consultation was good. But the reception and pharmacy was terrible. Went with 2 babies, actual consultation time was at 8 pm, then they called and asked us to reach by 6pm. Then we waited till 7.30. After consulting, went to pharmacy, he was not sure of most of the medicines, he WhatsApp the prescription to some one waited for the reply. So another half an hour only for 3 medicine and payment at reception. I booked through practo, registration fee mentioned was 800, but they charged 900. Only good thing was doctor behaviour and explanation.

He asked us to get dengue test & blood culture for by baby **** *** ******** *** *** ** ****** ** **** *** ******* *** ** *** *** ** ***** ** ** *** ** ***** But when I got the reports and took it to him, he didn't even look at those reports. **** ***** *** *** ** **** ** ** **** *** ******* ***** ***** *** ** ******* Besides, he is never on time. I won't recommend him. I tried to complain to him that the pathology staff pricked the syringe into my baby even though that staff was not able to locate the veins. But he was not interested in my complaint.
I won't recommend him.

Dr. is friendly & calm, speaks specifically to the point. It would be more helpful if Dr. explains more info about root cause & treatment methods263375. I am really frustrated about discharge procedure Dr. had adviced to discharge my kid at 8:45 am & even upon multiple follow-up Duty Doctor Anju didn't start our discharge procedure until 2:45 pm i.e. 6 hrs wait + another 4-6 hrs wait to get final Authorization. My concern is Y it takes Dr. Anju 6 hr to even start our claim even after so many follow ups
