I am working as Police Head constable at Belagavi Police Head quarters and got diagnosed with Vericose Vein problem around 10 years back. As a treatment initiative consulted different doctors and had different prescriptions and treatments, used to have temporary relief and the pain used to re-appear after a gap.

This repeated pain and suffering kept on impacting my personal and family life a lot.

Then came to know about Dr.Sunder Narasimhan (Senior Vascular Surgeon) at Apollo Hospital, Bangalore.

The Senior doctor with his team of expert doctors analysed my case thoroughly and performed all the necessary diagnosis (Lower Limb DVT) and tests. The team explained to me and my family the situation and the blockage in the nerves and performed ' Peripheral Angiogram and Balloon Angioplasty.

From the above medical terminology and explanation by the doctors what me and my family understood was that 'The main vein which was carrying blood from the lower part of the body below the waist to the upper part was blocked and there was pressure on the side nerves which started carrying the blood. This pressure on the small nerves made them to bulge due to which I started feeling the pain in the leg, thy and waist.

SURGERY: Dr. Sunder Narsimhan and his team performed Balloon Angioplasty initially and Dr Sunder sir told us that Peripheral Angiography and Peripheral Angioplasty need to be performed immediately or has to be done soon to get relief, if not would severe the pain and consequences. Me and My family decided to go ahead with the vascular surgery.

EXPERIENCE: The whole process took 3 days and the team of doctors and nurses took utmost care of me and even the facility and approach was very friendly for me and my family members.

The doctor and his expertise in this field has benefited me and has relieved me of the pain. Its 15 days now and am recovering and continuing with two sets of tablets as prescribed by the doctor.

I chose Dr. Sundar Narasimhan for consultation and subsequent surgery for my dad's ruptured varicose veins because I read about him on the net and his several years of expertise and experience in vascular surgery. But I was shocked to realise later that despite conducting all sorts of tests on my Dad who is 83 years plus, Dr. Narasimhan did not inform us that there were noticeably elevated pus cells and that there was an existing urinary tract infection that he should be treated for immediately. Instead he went ahead with the surgery of the ruptured vein and also performed another one on the second leg saying that there was hardening there too. post surgery when the wound did not heal he washed his hands off saying that my dad needed to consult a dermatologist and that his surgery was without blemish! he is rude, insulting and treats patients, even as old as my father with scant respect and does not suggest appropriate post operative care. The hospital charges are exorbitant and the final bill much higher than the estimate provided on admission despite no additional treatment or procedures being performed. I would advice anyone going in for any vascular procedure under Dr. Sundar Narasimhan should definitely think twice and seek multiple opinions before agreeing. Due to his callous and indifferent attittude my father had to be hospitalised a month after surgery because of the urinary tract infection about which the doctor should have advised at the first instance and possibly deferred surgery till that was treated. And now almost a month and half after surgery my dad is still suffering pain and festering wound at the place of surgery.

Before I begin I would like to thank Dr Sundar and his team from bottom of my heart for good treatment given to My father(Basanagouda) who was suffering from Aortoiliac occlusion disease.

Before meeting Dr Sunder, my father had already undergone angiogram with other doctors for the same problem but unfortunately that was not a success story, my father uses to complain same problems (unable to walk after 100 meters, thigh and legs pain, lower backache).

Met doctor Sunder who could not only diagnose the root of the problem, also the best possible way of treating it. As the blockage was just starting of the right iliac arteria and there were possible chances of occlusion getting passed to left iliac artery.

Special thanks to Dr Sunder for diagnosing the problem and explaining with patience and stretching himself till night 12 O’clock to make sure that the post operation procedures taken care and patient is relaxed.

Dr Sunder did Angioplasty to my father to clear the blocks and inserted stent. I’m happy and relaxed now as my father is Happy and relaxed he can walk and also he got relived from the pain

Dr.Sunder was very supportive throughout the procedure and after. He took very good care of my mother consistently and was always available to clear the doubts over the call whenever needed. I have never seen anyone as dedicated as him towards patients through this entire process. I’m happy and grateful to see my mother recovering well.

I'd been suffering from varicose veins for the last fifteen years. But recently, it got severe. When I googled about the treatment and the doctor for this problem, Dr. Sunder Narasimhan's name topped the list. When visited, he suggested endovenous laser treatment(ELT) and I got it done in Apollo. Post treatment,it took me like a week to recover from the pain. Dr, Sunder Narasimhan is a very good Vascular Surgeon. He operated for severe varicose veins on the right leg on my 81 year old Mother . She has fully recovered and is able to walk and the swelling ,bleeding in the feet which she had has stopped. Doctor is very friendly and has lot of compassion towards the patients. Explains all our doubts in detail.

I was having swelling and Pain in left leg. I Consulted DR Sundar Narsimhan, Dr suggested for CT scan and found that had a blood clot(Deep Venus Thrombosis) in my left leg.

Dr did (Catheter Directed Thrombolysis )removing the blood clots from leg completely using catherer technique . With in 2 days i started walking. Now i am fine and walk properly and do regular activities as usual. Thank you and Hats off to you Doctor.
