After a few failed attempts by other physios, I read about Dr Roshan and met him first late Nov 2020. I'd been having a grinding pain on my right knee which worsened as I climbed down stairs, jumped or did squats. This had started to affect my daily badminton routine badly to the extent that I had to stop playing.
Dr Roshan heard me out fully and began to make his diagnosis and explained what he was doing at every stage. Hearing him felt reassuring as it helped me understand my injury better. He diagnosed the issue as patello femoral dysfunction, which is caused by incorrect rubbing of the knee cap on the knee bone. He explained to me the possible causes of the injury and how he plans to fix it, being honest and open.
He began his first session on the same day and fixed the rotation slightly to allow better movement. He was sure that within 4 sessions, I'd feel much better. And he was right, within the 4th session, he had already fixed the cause and had prescribed several strengthening exercises to help on recovery.
2 things that stood out apart from his friendly nature is that though he could have asked me to buy expensive kit from his clinic, he pointed me to what was going to help and asked me to buy it at a reasonable price from online. He also never rushed to show you immediate results but rather focussed on long term results.
Whithin 4 weeks, I was back to play! It is almost week 7 now and I'm 100% back in the game with no sign of any relapse. I hope I continue what he has recommended. Big thanks to Dr Roshan and his modest clinic! This place is a gem that more people need to know about. 5 stars all the way!
