Dr. Raghavendra sir had performed TKR(Total Knee Replacement)surgery for my mother for both legs in the month of April 2022. My mother aged 59 years was suffering with Knee problem since 10+ years and she was afraid to undergone a surgery. She had lot of deformity in both the legs. Before surgery, She had lot of pain while walking or while climbing steps or while performing her household chores. When we met Doctor Raghavendra sir, We asked so many questions and he was happy to answer to us for all questions. The kind of confidence & positivity he has, It gave us confidence that we were in safe hands. After the conversation with the doctor my mother was confident and ready for the surgery.

With the experience he holds, Surgery went very well for both the legs(Day1 - First Leg & Day 3 - Second Leg). During our entire stay at hospital, Raghavendra sir visited my mother on daily basis and checked her condition and helped her with Physiotherapy sessions. And there were times where he went out of his way to take care of my mother. He really took special care and helped us in answering to all our queries. He guided us on how to take care of my mother post-hospitalization. Now its been 3 months since the surgery and my mother completely recovered, Now she is walking close to 7000 steps per day without any pain, She is able to climb stairs at ease and do all her work. Her deformity also reduced.

Really we were fortunate to get treatment from Dr. Raghavendra Sir and I would highly recommend Raghavendra Sir for TKR(Total Knee Replacement)surgeries.

1) Doctor's mask kept slipping down his face as he treated the patient. ** * ******* * ***** ** ** ********* ** ***** ***** **** **** **** ********** ***** ********* ** ******

2) The doctor suggested that my husband's grandmother for whom we were seeking treatment should remove some of her bangles as it was constricting blood flow. While that was a fair suggestion and point well-taken, doctor's next steps of trying to force the bangles past the swollen wrist without using soap/oil was not appreciated. He seemed to have no idea of the pain that granny who is 91 yo was going through.

3) Doctor had suggested that we get blood tests done to check for infection. The next day, when granny was complaining of stomach pain, I called the doc to check for alternate medicines that could be given. He insisted that the blood test be done, which again might have been necessary for him to get a complete picture. However, his next comment of stopping all medication if blood tests are not done angered me. In these times of high Covid cases, anyone would hesitate to take a partially vaccinated 91 y.o. to a lab to get blood tests done. A delay of a day in getting blood tests should not cause a doctor to advise that all medications be stopped, esp since the patient was in pain.

Given the multiple incidents, we have decided to go elsewhere to a more empathetic doctor. ** ***** ** ** ********* ****** *** *** **** ******** *** ****** ** *****

I’m very happy with the doctor’s treatment. He is very good surgeon. Most importantly, he is very friendly in nature and has lot of patience with the patients. I have a lot of satisfaction with the treatment given by the doctor. Hearty thanks to Dr. Raghavendra.

Dr. Raghavendra is very friendly, approachable and answers all questions patiently. He performed knee replacement surgery on my right knee, the pain is very less compared to my left knee replacement which happened 10 yrs ago by different doctor. He is very approachable and answers all queries any time he is contacted. He is very honest and transparent with any challenges/issues that may come up after surgery.
