My experience with Dr. Santosh S ENT in Columbia Asia hospital Hebbal has been very bad. He prescribed around 15 or more medicines for 2 weeks for just a cough, followed by another huge list of medicines for another 2 weeks and then another huge list, which included everything from antibiotics, anti-allergic, de-worming, etc etc all prescribed all the same time. As a result, I started having the most severe acidity and acid re-flux of my life, which is continuing to be a problem EVEN AFTER 2 YEARS. After 1 month of heavy medication, he suggested that maybe the reason for the cough was acid re-flux (which was caused by medicines he prescribed) and then gave me another long list of medications. Every time, as soon as I entered his exam room, he started typing in the list of medicines in his computer, even before asking about my problem and hardly paid any attention. He spent more time typing in his computer than actually examining or even listening to me. The appointments lasted less than 10 minutes after an hour or more of wait time, even after booking an appointment in advance. He even performed a laryngoscopy without even telling me that he is going to do that. A doctor is actually supposed to get the patients consent and tell the patients about all the possible side effects before performing any such procedure. I made a big mistake of consulting this doctor and taking the huge list of medicines he prescribed. After his medication, I had to take a long course of medication for the acidity and acid re-flux problem that it created. I could not eat and drink a lot of things for a long time and still can’t. Even after 2 years of consulting him, I am still suffering from horrible acidity and acid reflux EVERYDAY!

Doctor performed an endoscopy to remove foreign object lodged in throat. He did it amazingly with a steady hand and quickly. Not only confident but also patient to listen and explain

The doctor misdiagnosed me. The doctor diagnosed my problem as Rt Cervical Lymphadenitis. I took second opinion from two other doctors which told me it is not related to lymph-node as lymph node is deep under skin so skin will move over it.

Also the doctor prescribed me Povidone-iodine for gargle in-spite of knowing that I have hypo-thyroid. There is clinical evidence that Povidone-iodine causes thyroid dysfunction.

He is a very good doctor. Very kind and explain each and every thing very patiently. I visited him in colombia asia hospital for my daughter preauricular sinus infection and he had done the surgery for my daughter. He was very polite and handled everything very well. As my daughter is only 8yrs old he took proper care of her.. We are really very thankful to the doctor..
