Actually, I had heard a lot about Aarna Aesthetic Dermatology, and it wasn't just because of the internet, but also because of word of mouth, which suggested this clinic for a fantastic hair transplant. I chose her because of her sincerity and, obviously, her repute in the hair transplant market. I scheduled the procedure for a specific day and arrived at the facility on time. We started at 7 a.m. because She was quite timely. The treatment went without a hitch and was painless. I must say, I didn't feel like I was undergoing any surgical process because it was so relaxing, which might be due to Dr. Pavithra's wizardry or the procedure being so amazing, I'm not sure. But I thought his magical hands had worked wonders on my scalp, and after 3 months of hair transplantation, I could notice good hair growth.

Yes, it's been 3 months, so I may not be able to tell you about the final outcomes, but the results so far are fantastic, as I've begun to see dense hair growth in the transplanted area, which is extremely fascinating. The best part is that people have started asking me since the results are visible: my personality and confidence are both improving.

If I go a few years back, I could have never thought of having a Hair Transplant (HT) done despite my slowly receding hairline in the span of 5-6 years. The reason was I thought that HT was a gimmick or it was something that cannot be done to give a natural look. Maybe because I had never come across anybody in my friends/ family who ever got HT done. In the beginning of 2021, my receding hairline reached a stage that it could no longer be hidden by styling my hair differently and my frontal scalp was visible from both sides as if I was a 40-year-old person.

Now, after getting the Hair Transplant done from her, I can vouch for this.

The Hair Transplant experience was very non-painful for me. There is a myth that HT is painful but this myth got broken as the first 15-20 minutes of my HT passed. I would not say that it was completely painless and I did not feel anything. Sure, there was discomfort for the first 15 minutes but it was only while the Anesthesia was being injected into my scalp.

I was expecting that I would also start to see my results after 8-9 months just like other people. But to my absolute surprise, I got 65%-75% results in just 5-6 months.

I was skeptical about the results before talking to Dr. Pavithra about Hair Transplant and today the skilled hands of Dr. Pavithra gave me amazing dense hair on my empty scalp. I am extremely satisfied with the results and to me this was the best decision of my life.

Before the day: Excellent 30 min consultation with Dr. Pavithra. She went through all my questions and made me feel at ease. The staff, who I spoke to about scheduling and billing was also a pleasure to talk to.

Day of: Despite an early 7:15 AM reporting time, Dr. Pavithra was already waiting for me when I arrived. Dr. Pavithra administered my medications and was clear about what to expect the rest of the day. The technician team were personable, professional, and clearly very experienced. Dr. Pavithra showed me the hairline we were going for and both me and the technicians agreed it looked realistic and achievable. Then I got comfy for the procedure, which started off with some admittedly painful (but not unbearable) numbing shots. Then my memory is hazy. At some point I listened to nearly 4 hours of an audio book, yet I remember almost nothing from it. I had a delicious lunch (courtesy of Dr. Pavithra's office). No pain at this point, but some light-hearted conversation with the technicians as they wrapped up the procedure, with Dr. Pavithra checking in a couple times in between. It was around 4 when we finished but the time flew by. I was stunned when Dr. Pavithra showed me the work that had been done in just a few short hours.

Post-op: Post-op has proceeded more or less exactly as described in the literature Dr. Pavithra called beforehand. I took one day off after the procedure but was able to return to work comfortably the second day after. I worked from home the first day back and avoided the camera, but the second day back, I turned on the camera. And after the weekend, it felt comfortable taking in-person meetings with a loose-fitting hat. There was some residual pain, but easily managed with Tylenol and, for the few days, a mild dose of hydrocodone. Looking forward to seeing the results over the next 6-12 months!

I am so happy with the results of Ultherapy with Dr. Pavithra. I am 57 and have been seeing him for a number of years for other treatments.
