I visit Dr. Shruthi at Appollo rather frequently as both of my kids have rather persistent problems with their oral health and have needed treatments like tooth fillings, RCT and most recently even tooth extraction. Thanks to her efforts my kids oral health has improved. She is very friendly and my kids don't throw tantrums when we have to visit her.

Recently, my son's molar broke and had a crack in the remaining part that was intact. He was in pain and this happened during the weekend. Dr. Shruthi suggested medication to handle the situation till we were able to visit the clinic. When we did, it required tooth extraction. She enquired about the situation and if his exams were on and explained that it will be difficult for him for a couple of days and gave us an option if we wanted to postpone it until after his exams. I went forward with the procedure as he was in pain anyways. I even received a follow-up enquiry on his situation after a few hours of the procedure since it was paining after the local anesthesia effect wore off...

I haven't seen such a concern from any doctor. She has been the trusted dentist for my kids for over a year now!

My baby boy was 2 months old when we were referred to Dr Shruti bg my LC. He had a moderate tongue tie. Shruti explained all about the tie and how it affects feeding process. She was very patient with all our questions and gave us time to decide if we want to get the tie released. She also explained about other alternatives like CST before going for a laser removal. I have consulted many other pediatric dentists after that for second opinion, but everyone said it is not necessary to remove the tie at 2 months. But since Shruti is an LC as well, we valued her opinion and went ahead for removal. The process was smooth. She explained the after procedure exercises as well and made sure we did thise regularly. After the procedure, she constantly followed with me on WhatsApp to check how the baby is doing. I can see a clear difference in his feeding pattern after 1-2 weeks of tie removal. Even after that, when baby had a thrush, she explained what to do to cure it very patiently on whatsapp. She is very friendly and approachable. Consultantion with her has completely changed our breastfeeding journey. My baby boy is 5 months old now and i have been exclusively breastfeeding since the Consultantion with her. She's an awesome Doctor and explained the issues in layman's terms to make us understand the severity and it's impact in future. We then went ahead with suggested treatment by her and my daughter hardly have any complaints around the damaged areas which got fixed.

The treatment was great and my daughter felt relieved. Best part of her is, she frequently keeps checking about daughter's condition and guide as required.

She's very professional and punctual to the core so that you will not be kept waiting to get the consultation or treatment. She is definitely friendly and we could contact her any time of the day to check for appointments or to get medical advises.

My 7 year old kid was having dental issues for which Dr Shruti advised RCT in 3 sittings. We agreed and we even paid for PPE kit on first visit ***** ** ********* *** ******* ** ********* First sitting went well and she could complete RCT partially and planned to complete in second sitting. Second sitting didnt go well as my kid was too scared to get the procedure done. And Dr Shruti started prescribing the procedure to be done under general anaesthesia ******* *** **** for a day admission to which we did not agree.
