more..My mom was admitted at Manipal hospital Old Airport road with Intestinal obstruction last month. The situation demanded that we go in for an emergency surgery. Dr. Hemanth was very empathetic during the whole process and he clearly explained the risks associated with the surgery while at the same time remaining very positive about the outcome of the surgery. We were very worried since my Mom is 80 and we were not sure if she would be able to get through the surgery. Dr. Hemanth was kind enough to answer all the doubts that my mom has pre and post surgery. Even during the follow up visits he ensured that he spent ample time answering all our doubts. Dr Hemant Kumar is one of the most empathetic humane doctor i have ever met, he is a God sent for us and he treated my mother back to health. My mother Leela Gopinath was diagnosed with gall bladder disease and was advised for gall bladder removal, just when the surgery was about to happen, she developed liver abscess and then dengue, but with Dr Hemant's and his team's best efforts, all her conditions were managed effectively and she recovered.
