Visited Dr. Sachin Gandhi (Neurosurgeon)
I was two and a half years old and we had just moved to Vapi. The balcony there didn't have a safety grill, and I fell from the first floor. This happened on June 7, 2007—a Sunday. I lost consciousness after the fall. My parents rushed me to the hospital, where a very senior doctor was treating me; he was only administering IV fluids, but I wasn't regaining consciousness. My maternal grandfather, uncle, and aunt lived in Pune; my grandfather worked in the medical field and heard that Dr. Sachin Gandhi was an excellent neurologist. He spoke to the doctor about my case, and Dr. Gandhi agreed to treat me. I was then taken by ambulance directly from Vapi to Ruby Hall Hospital in Pune, where Dr. Sachin Gandhi performed surgery. I spent a long time in the ICU and in a coma at Ruby Hall. When I finally recovered, the doctor told my parents he couldn't guarantee whether I would be able to speak or recognize people again. I had indeed lost my voice, but it returned thanks to homeopathic treatment. My parents then arranged for physiotherapy, and I eventually started walking. Now, I work as a mehndi artist and an artist; I am particularly skilled at sketching. Thank you, Sir. I love you, Sir *. When I fell, I landed on my right side; there was no external bleeding, which is why I lost movement in my right arm and leg.
