Doctors don't bother to listen to the entire history of the patient. I have had this problem for 1.5 yrs and i kept telling Doctor that my appetite has died and i m losing weight constantly bcoz of antiacids and suffering from indigestion, gas and bloating.I also told him i dont have constipation anymore coz i m following good lifestyle, exercise and diet. He still ended up prescribing me antiacids and stool softner. While i told him my stools are soft but the prob is with defecation of stool and thats despite of yoga, pranayam, walk, 1 meal a day, fruits, fiber, juices, smoothies and everything u name it. Why can't doctors think about any vitamins or minerals deficiency, low stomach acid, bile or enzymes, gut microbiome, any infection in intestines, stool test, muscle movement issue, or some nervous system issues,when nothing is working. He gave me the exact treatment ***** *** ******* for me for 1.5 yrs now and he was not interested in listening to my entire problem. He cut me off and was very fast prescribing medicines **** * * **** ** **** *********

The good thing is he suggested colonoscopy finally afr knowing that i get blood in my stools and cramps in my intestines and suggested it could be IBS. I already have gastritis and fatty liver, the colonoscopy is not done yet and he already prescribed medicines.. how and why ???

The clinic was well maintained. There is a Lal pathology lab inside the clinic so any tests can be done there itself. The colonscopy was done comfortably and I was satisfied with it. The doctor explained the results of diagnosis nicely.

There was one aspect which disappointed me. I had submitted the bills for insurance claim and went back to the clinic to take written details of the treatment as per insurance company guidelines. The doctor wrote the treatment details on clinic letterhead and I was charged Rs.300 for taking the clinic's rubber stamp on it. I had never faced this kind of situation in any mediclaim processing in other hospitals in the past. I didn't understand why I was asked to pay Rs.300 for written details of the diagnosis.

Just FYI - my insurance claim was finally rejected at the final stages of evaluation.

I was having severe Stomach issues, Pains and digestive related issues for almost 2 years, Dr.Shimpi Sir have helped me overcome this and I am so very thankful for connecting with such an excellent Doctor. I went through Endoscopy and Colonscopy,a small Polyp was found. The samples were sent for Biposy and fortunately it was benign and bacterial Colitis was diagnosed. Got Polypectomy done immediately at Deenanath...This is all about right diagnosis and the encouragement that Doctor provides which indeed Sir demonstrated always I visited him. Cant thank him enough for how he got me out of this which had mentally taken away my peace. I would highly recommend Dr. Shimpi...it is all about the trust...Thankyou Sir once again for all your support...truly appreciated. God bless you! 🙏

Very experienced doctor. Listened to my problem carefully and did not offer unnecessary tests. Explained the cause after a quick check and advised some medication.Looked through all my previous reports and elaborated the discussion to make me understand the problem and how I can get better.I would highly recommend him as he instills confidence than fear or unnecessary worry in the patient. Definitely 5 stars for the above reasons.

Doctor is soft spoken and precise. He has prescribed certain medicines for abdominal pain and heat... felt comfortable discussing the issues... hoping for speedy recovery.... receptionists also very polite. Have to meet doctor after lockdown for endoscopy....

Sir , I visited Dr Shimpi on March 15, 2024 at his Cedar Clinic for my Chronic Indigestion n gastric problem n frequent bloating/burping and weight loss for last few yrs. By paying his fees of 1200/. On his consultation the

Dr advised me to make the Gastros with Rut Test rom his clinic on March 19 at a cost of Rs8000/ . And Ultrasound from outside.

When I visited on 19, and completed the above test in 10 mts or so and after seing the report on Dr said that the test is negative and now You consult some Physician or so n not satisfied my queries which I asked.

Very surprising that being a doctor of stomach Gastrocopy, he is unable to give treatment for same.

Even by paying 9200. Sorry to say so. *********** * **********************
