I approached her on 30th December, just 20 days before the Tata Mumbai Marathon (42 km), suffering from severe IT Band Syndrome. At that point, I could barely run 4–5 km before the pain would start. With her treatment, guidance, and constant encouragement, I was able to successfully complete the 42 km on 18th January that too under the cut off time for my Procam Slam Challenge.

What stood out even more was her support during the race itself—she continued guiding me with stretches and recovery tips. Beyond physiotherapy, she also advised me on diet, which played a crucial role in my recovery.

She is extremely sweet, always approachable, and genuinely invested in her patients’ progress. My marathon finish itself is proof of her treatment’s success.

I visited Dr. Megha Mehta when I was struggling with severe lower back and knee pain after a running injury. What I really appreciated was that she didn’t just treat the symptoms — she identified the real root cause, which was my sedentary lifestyle, and addressed it systematically.

She created a well-structured 2-week recovery and training program tailored specifically for me. It included targeted exercises, stretches, along with cupping therapy and electrotherapy sessions. Her approach was step-by-step, practical, and extremely detailed.

I have regained most of my strength. I am impressed with her professionalism and understanding of protocol (including privacy, safety and communication). My sessions were 1:1 with 30 minutes of exercise and sometimes 45 minutes if it took longer. She would communicate what she needed to assess before she began and wait until you understood. In my experience with Dr. Mehta pays a keen attention to the patient’s dignity and confidence and also assess any other concerns that are prone to affect the underlying condition such as your occupation or diet. I was also very impressed at the pace and length of each session and noticed that Dr. Mehta never lost energy even to explain each exercise and any doubts I had during my exercises and what muscles I was using or what they were for.
