I visited the psychiatrist for my brother who is suffering from OCD. He was already not in a position to come out of the house for anything but somehow managed to visit the doctor. The doctor identified the issue quickly and explained it clearly and well.

He asked my brother to start taking a particular medicine at 50mg for 10 days and then increase the dose to 100mg. Once he started taking medicines, he became calm and felt better for first few days. By the time it was 7th-8th day, he started becoming anxious and his OCD got fired up. I visited the doctor and explained the situation to him. He listened and said that this is happening because of acidity. He prescribed the medicine for same. I asked the doctor if we should continue with 50mg dosage as it has worked. He said no, we are thinking of increasing the dose and he needs to switch to 100mg after 2 days.

Once he started taking 100mg ** ******* ******* ********* ****** ******** *** ** ******* ******* *** ***** *** ***** His thinking pattern changed and we didn't see him like this anytime in the past. He started behaving like a different person. ** ******* ****** ** *** **** ** **** ** **** **** ****** ***** ********** *** ********** ***** *** **** ** ******** *** ********* ** ****** ****** *** *** ******** ******* ******** ****** **** ****** *** ** *** **** ****** ***** * ***** *** I feel while the psychiatrist identified the issue correctly, we don't know why the medicines didn't work. My brother is not confident to visit again because of the issue he experienced with medicines. That's why we are unsure of visiting or recommending anybody for consultation.
