Few months back, I was suffering from depression and anxiety with constant negative belief scaring me with the fear of death. I was not able to concentrate on activities happening around me as various negative thoughts like serious illnesses, etc., was going inside my mind. During that time, I felt like someone is pressing my head and also had dizziness, weaknesses. I was also not able to get adequate sleep. As I try to sleep, I was struck by shock and tremor in the middle of sleep. This continued for a long period of time and it affected my physical health too. I was not convenient of telling this matter to my family members but one day I told my close friend about the matter. He advised me to consult a psychologist. Then, I consulted a psychologist who advised me to take medication but my problem resurfaces after discontinuing the medicine. After that, I decided to consult another psychologist. Luckily and by the grace of God, I got an opportunity to consult with Dr. Nivedita Sharma Madam. Madam was very unique in her approach and behaviour in examining and understanding the problem. After understanding the root cause of the problem, she also advised me to go through certain medical tests to wipe out negative thoughts of serious illness from my mind for my convenience. Madam has convinced and helped me to get rid of my negative beliefs and thoughts over a period of time. Now, I am doing quite good and living a life free from anxiety and depression and all the credit goes to Madam. I pray to almighty to always bless Madam so that she could rehabilitate people like me for a long period of time.

Dr Gunjan Sharma is a great therapist and I would highly recommend her.

From the 1st session she was able to help me understand things about myself which I was dealing with, for a long time. She provided a safe space to me to talk about things and there was a lot of empathy she showed during the sessions.

She communicated everything with clarity. She has a very good skill of reaching to the right problem. She helped me ask the right questions. This helped me alot to work on myself independently too.

I was able to see personal improvements session by session. Taking sessions with her helped me reach more authentic self of mine, helped me deal with anxiety and helped me navigate my relationship issues with clarity.

So when I started my therapeutic journey with Gunjan a year back, I was a strict believer that therapy would not work for me. But Gunjan was really easy to talk to and open up to. She listens very effectively and probes further to understand your situation better, it feels very natural coming from her. I'm honestly surprised by how much perspective my sessions with Gunjan has given me and the opportunities to grow. I started therapy with Dr Gunjan in February and within a span of 2-3 months I have seen a lot of changes in myself and the way I think and approach every situation in my life. She’s someone who genuinely cares for her patient’s progress and wellbeing. She makes a genuine effort to understand her patients and make them feel like that they aren’t going through it alone. She has helped me through issues which I thought would stay with me forever. I can’t put into proper words what she has done for me and how invaluable the whole treatment has been for me.
