Reconnect Neuropsychiatry & Child Giudance Clinic

It wasn’t good! On my first appointment I had to wait for 20-30 minutes. And after contacting Practo’s customer care, the doctor finally joined the call and told me she couldn’t really take a session at that cuz of some family situation.

I understood and we kept the appointment for the next day, however the next day too, I was the one calling her and following up. She told me to call her yet again to confirm the timings. I called yet again and it went unanswered.

Now the doctor was a sweet lady and all. She was polite to me! And I also understand that she too could have an emergency back at home. My only concern here is that being a doctor, one should have the same empathy for the patients.

Especially when it comes to mental health, a doctor should know that it takes a lot of courage to seek a doctor’s advice in the first place and hence it should be taken seriously. Someone could be just one step away from taking a bad decision, and toiling with them like this can make things worse. You expect a next level understanding from a mental health doctor. That’s all I expected! One should at least ask how severe the patient’s situation is and act accordingly.

I have been visiting Dr. Ashima srivastav for a while now and she’s been an absolute support to me she listens to my feelings and problems and responds in a positive manner. Shes a professional and it shows. My condition has improved just because of her

This is my first time ever taking up a few counseling sessions. I’m thankful to Dr. Ashima Srivastava, she’s acknowledged and tried to understand what dilemma I am going through on a daily basis. I feel a lot better and most definitely hope to better in life.
