I met Dr. Amit Garg 1 yr back, after getting unsatisfactory treatment for depression and anxiety from several mental health doctors across Delhi.

I was at the lowest point in my life when I seeked his treatment. Getting up from the bed and doing routine chores like brushing teeth, bathing seemed mountain like task to me. I would cry inconsolably at the smallest of things.

Consulting Dr. Amit Garg was a turning point in my life. He is a genuine doctor, who is devoted to help people with mental health issues. He is highly empathetic, patient, approachable, friendly and greets you with a warm smile. Within few minutes of conversation, he could diagnose my 18 years long ailment correctly and gave me the right guidance and treatment. (Which many renowned doctors, previously consulted could not...)

Even after leaving his clinic he was always available over WhatsApp for any questions or any problems I faced.

Within a few days of following his treatment, I could see a drastic change in me. I feel happy and elated most of the times. I am infused with lot of positivity and enthusiasm. I am able to handle daily chores, my 6 yrs old daughter and my family in a much better way. My life has certainly changed :)

I connected with Dr. Amit in Nov 2024.. for my panic attacks, overthinking, unusual behaviour and suicidal thoughts.. and he listened to everything i had to say.. no rush.. no judgements... he gave me time to describe everything.. i have been suffering from depression since 2019.. had many treatments but i was never confident and comfortable with any doctor.. i do have trust issues.. but Dr. Amit made me feel comfortable and at ease.. he assured me that what I am feeling is normal..and his treatment is really helping me.. It’s always nice talking to him.. if anyone has any issues regarding mental health.. i would suggest that please at-least try talking to him for once.. you will feel better..

He is extremely friendly, patient, and never rushes through the consultation. He takes the time to explain everything in detail — including why each medicine is prescribed and how it helps, which makes you feel very comfortable and informed.

The most amazing part is that even if you visit him again after 3–4 months, he still remembers exactly where the last conversation ended and follows up so personally. That level of care and attention is truly rare these days.

I have undergone treatments from various psychiatrists since the past four years. They were mildly working but i wasn’t satisfied with the same results after every change in prescription.

Upon reading reviews of Dr.Amit Garg, i was hoping for a better treatment and enhancement in my health.

Its been almost a month, i feel good, specially because i am taking fewer medicines than before, i dont feel lethargic by his medicines unlike the previous doctors i visited.

I am still undergoing the treatment so i might not add up much to review but i am hoping for better changes in the upcoming future with new prescriptions and therapies.

I have been dealing with depression and anxiety since 2013, but I became stable only after his treatment. Since struggling with mental health for so many years, I didn’t know it was possible to live a happy life, and I am really grateful to him for that. I really appreciate his knowledge and the way he explains the reasoning behind prescriptions. The best part is that he doesn’t want his patients to be dependent on lifelong medication. i had Psychiatric issues since 2018, i consulted very well known Psychiatrists, i even got treated by the psychiatric faculty of IHBAS for almost about an year. i went for ayurvedic treatment at Patanjali Yogpeeth too. nothing helped, things continued worsening. finally in September 2020 i met this Angel disguised in a Doctor and since then I am constantly observing improvement. he is in a constant touch with my behaviour therapist as well. even on our impromptu consultation that usually happens when things at my end uncertainty worsens, Dr Amit never failed to let my stride get dim.

one thing that the patient need to understand is, Psychiatric treatment takes time as it has very entangled roots. Be unflappable.

he will replace your fear of illness into belief od recovery. Trust me!

Dr. Amit has been very responsive and took time to understand the full case. He is quite an expert in the field and would fill you with positive vibes every time you have a session with him. Had a great experience with the sessions I had..Though I am not completely out of it but hope to come out soon. Highly recommended 😊

I just have one thing to say - if I'm able to even pick my phone and type this review, it's only because of Dr. Amit. He's a saviour. He not only identified the root cause pretty accurately, but also explained it in detail to me. Most importantly, he's highly calm and friendly. Now I'm fully recovered (Even better than before the disorder started). I highly recommend him.
