It is our goal to provide complete assistance with complex colon and anorectal surgical problems. Many of our patients require surgical procedure under general anesthesia. For that reason, we strive for all patients to receive medical clearance from their primary care physicians. We also recommend that all patients receive in-hospital medical follow-up care from their primary care physician, if necessary. In cases where the primary care physician is not on staff at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, we would assign the hospitalist group (subject to your approval) to provide medical follow-up.Dr. Taha’s practice is limited to the colorectal field. In cases where patients require both colonoscopy and upper GI system evaluations (EGD) during the same sedation, we will recommend a gastroenterology colleague (subject to your approval) to perform the EGD procedure.
