I had redness of eye and fixed video consultation appointment on Practo with this doctor. She did not join video and instead did normal audio call, spoke in rushed manner and asked to share pictures of my eyes. (I needed help urgently as I have newborn at home.)

Based on that she prescribed eye drops over chat. No proper prescription was shared.

After two days symptoms did not improve so I have checked with another docto* *** ********* **** ***** ** ** ******** ** ****** ** ***** ************** *** *** ********* *************** **** ***** *** ***** ***** **** *** ***** ************** *** ****** *** ** **** ** ** ** *** **************

I have called Dr Uma again and asked for medicine for viral conjunctivitis. She told rudely that she cannot give medicines based on another doctor’s opinion. I understand her point. But she only gave me option to travel to her clinic which is far away and I cannot leave back baby. She could have at least come on video call again and checked my symptoms. Doctor is not at all friendly and not trying to help the patient. I don’t recommend her to anyone.

First day I have done a video consult ,she is telling a lie that I did not do and she also sent me pictures which were very clear. Based on these I have given her antibiotic treatment which she herself has told that I have given treatment which did not work for her. She immediately goes on to also tell another lie saying I have not given her any treatment . How can that also be true. Within a few hours she expects some miracle treatment. She rang me on my personal number and told me it has not got better. She says her friend ,also her next door neighbour is a doctor but NOT EYE DOCTOR she confirmed has suggested that it is Viral conjunctivitis and she wanted me to prescribe some treatment for that based on her friend's diagnosis. I told her it is not right for me to give a treatment based on somebody else diagnosis because maybe it is not right. I don't want to do that illegal practice I told her that. I also said you need to use medicine at least for 24 hours and within few hours how can it be better. I even told her come to my clinic because earlier she told me that she is living in the next Road. Actually I told her I will see her free of charge in my clinic because it can be seen better in the microscope slit lamp. she refused to come because because I do not recharge any patient even up to one or two weeks Then I also told her you ask your friend who is a doctor to call me I will speak to him directly . But he never called. I was speaking to her for a long time very kindly and I did not speak to her rudely. This is another false allegation. The very fact I have given my personal number to her so that she can call me anytime because the Practo app video consultation was not working. Even in the past it does not worked for patients, I have to give my personal number for the video consultation, so that they can do WhatsApp video calling That is the reason I have given my personal number because she can call me quickly. I even responded. I picked up her number each time she called I have spent so much of my valuable time on her. When she is ordering me to write the medicines based on some other persons orders I could have easily cut the call and said I cannot to do it. Instead I continued the conversation and tried to make her understand that it is not right for her to order me to write medicines based on her friend's ideas. I even offered to spend some more time and said her friend doctor can call me but nobody called me. So she basically wanted me to just write some medicines based on somebody else diagnosis who is not even eye doctor which she had confessed. I am not prepared to do such an illegal work. She pressureised me a couple of times to write the medicines which she wanted me to write . In spite of that I was very polite. In spite of all this she is angry unnecessarily and she is using the Practo and the media unfairly. Just because the media is available for complaining it is easy to write about anybody unfairly. Without any effort, sitting in the comfort of the house with just a phone in the hand anybody can do this and that is what she is doing without any conscience.

Which I never availed. Infact I met doctor in person at her clinic. And she is demanding additional 500 rs, which I had to pay and she says practo doesn't pay anything out of 749rs.Sad, I have to explain doctor why I have to pay 749rs.She returned 500rs cash, which I paid to her in hand.Maybe it's a mistake made by doctor or staff. But just call them and explain your stand.

We came to consult for my mother's glaucoma treatment. After getting tossed up with few drs in the city, landed up here at the right time. My mum almost got to depression after having painful laser treatment and mis leading pathetic treatment. Definitely Dr. Uma is God sent angel and while we came here without any time delay Dr. Uma mam started the treatment the very first day we consulted her. She had performed the most critical surgery trabeculectomy with mitomycin c.we never felt this much ease and comfortable with any drs. My mum who was refusing for surgery before felt she was in safe hands,accepted for surgery and felt more positive with Dr.uma's comforting words and pacifying nature. Also she spent more time with the patient clearly explaining the course of treatment. Without her strengthening words of hope we would have never proceeded for surgery. Our heart felt immense gratitude to Dr.Uma for guiding us with the right treatment care.

We are senior citizens and my wife is a kidney patient going through dialysis every other day. As her eyesight became weaker I was looking for an Ophthalmologist and found Dr.Uma through Google reference. From day one she has been very helpful and explained in greater detail what needs to be done for my wife. Accommodating my wife's condition she planned the cataract surgery for both eyes within a matter of 10 days and the whole treatment was carried out by her seamlessly taking care of our needs from A to Z. Even after the surgery, her follow up was excellent and very reassuring. It is our good fortune that we managed to find such a qualified and patient-friendly doctor. Hope many will continue to get her care and mind you these are for eyes. You need an extremely skillful treatment. we are very happy and wishing her and the team all the best of luck.
