My experience with Dr. Shanthala Thuppanna has been extremely reassuring, and I feel genuinely grateful to have had her as my surgeon.

I underwent a total laparoscopic hysterectomy under her care. What was expected to be a straightforward procedure turned out to be more challenging because of unexpected endometriosis and adhesions. Despite these complications, Dr. Shanthala was able to complete the surgery laparoscopically itself, with small incisions, without having to convert it into an open abdominal surgery.

What stood out to me was how strongly she prioritised my comfort and recovery. She could have chosen the approach that would have been easier from a surgical perspective, but instead she made every effort to preserve the minimally invasive approach and put my needs first.

We had initially consulted Dr. Shanthala for my fibroids. Before deciding on the surgery, we did take multiple other opinions, but we eventually came back to her. The biggest reason was the clarity with which she explained everything and the confidence she brought to the consultation. I personally really liked her straightforward communication style. *** ******* ********** ****** ** **** *********** ************ She tells you things as they are, explains the situation clearly, and gives you a realistic understanding of what to expect. Her confidence and experience as a surgeon are naturally reassuring.

Looking back, I am very thankful for the care, expertise and confidence she brought throughout the entire process. She is an experienced and highly skilled surgeon who genuinely seems invested in her patients’ well-being and recovery. My experience with her has been extremely positive, and I would be happy to recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and patient-focused gynaecological surgeon.

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. I consulted her regarding adenomyosis and irregular periods. Doctor was kind of rude when I wanted to know the details of the test report. I expected the doctor to be patient but instead she just asked to take the medicines ******* **** ********* ** ** ********* I would never go back to this clinic again. I consulted Dr. Shanthala Thuppanna for my mother's post menopausal issue as she was having abnormal uterine with vaginal bleeding. I'm greatful for her as she treated my mother with all the care and also we were given complete explanation of the issue and the diagnosis for the same. Thank you Dr. Shanthala Thuppanna for such a care

First, they ask you to pay Rs 100 separately for registration charges for just giving a blank file on which they write your name. This extra charge was no where mentioned at the time of appointment booking on Practo.

Second, they made it mandatory to wear masks or buy one stating it as a local law while the doctor herself during speaking, had her mask down. This is absolutely unwarranted.

*** ********** *** **** ******** ******* Not at all friendly. She isn't even maintaining the basics of hiegene and will you see her scratching her head and then holding the pills with the same hand.But she would make sure to make you sit 5ft away and explain the procedure. God knows what she writes on the prescription, hard to understand from 5ft apart. There is something called empathy. She lacks it totally.

This is my first consultation, the doc inspired confidence and answered all queries. Very friendly doc.

She is rude ….and only thing she suggested for my irregular periods was loosing my weight ……she didn’t even diagnose

Attended the case carefully and gave good explanation. Described treatment method. Doctor is well experienced. Staff is friendly and polite.
