I had been battling a cold and cough for several weeks, which started to feel relentless. As a child, I underwent sinusitis surgery and tonsil surgery, and I had hoped I’d never face sinus issues again. I tried general medicines and ignored the symptoms, thinking they would fade away.

That’s when I visited Dr. Diptarka Bhattacharya. In my first consultation, he carefully examined my nose and immediately advised a CT scan, identifying a blockage in my right nostril. After the CT results, he recommended sinus surgery to remove the blockage.

During the procedure, Dr. Bhattacharya uncovered another issue: my left nostril was also infected. The previous surgery from 30 years ago hadn’t been performed due to the lack of technology at the time, which led to ongoing pus formation and infections. Dr. Bhattacharya’s thorough assessment and expertise addressed both problems—highlighting the importance of modern diagnostics and surgical capabilities.

He did a tremendous job in diagnosing the issues and guided me through a course of medications and drops as needed. Today, I can breathe freely, and there is no mucus formation. I can clearly feel the difference, and my quality of life has improved dramatically.

I was suffering from continuous sinus infection and allergy symptoms ..I was having feeling of body ache, fever and heaviness in the forehead.I consulted many doctors around Sarjapur and Bellandur, all told me it's due to allergy from dust of construction on roads, but anti allergy and anti biotics were not working even after I took multiple dosage of them and took all care like mask and all.Then I was looking for solving this issue and researched and came accross Dr Diptarka Bhattacharya and consulted him in Sarjapur Manipal.He made thorough check up, checked my nose through endoscopy and told I had not only deviated septum but also the bone structure is deviated which was blocking whole sinus opening , I was suggested to take allergy test to check allergy effect also.Finally allergy test was negative,and the whole reason for this issue was sinus blockage due to deviated nasal bone and cartilage.I agreed to do operation , all the things related to operation and insurance on boarding was done by his team, they were very cordial and helpful in the whole process.After surgery I visited his clinic multiple times for nasal cleaning and some small complications, every time doctor replied with proper reason for the issue and with complete explanation and he was always available on phone also.His calming demeanour helps alot when we are about to do surgery or post surgery,the way he and his team takes care is not only professional but also has a personal touch to it.I will recommend anyone having ENT issue specially nose related issue to visit him and take his advice.Special mention to his entire team of doctors and nurses as well for their care and reassuring behaviour.

I had been suffering from dns related problems for quiet sometime. These included having a blocked nose, being allergeic always and sinus issues. I finally decided to get my surgery done and as recommended by my brother i chose Dr Diptarka. From day 1 he guided me and explained me everything properly. Instead of other doctors who blatently suggested me surgery after listening to me for 10 secods, Dr Diptarka asked me to do a few tests and only after he was sure he suggested me to do a surgery.
