I had my wisdom tooth extraction done by doctor. I have always been afraid on tooth extraction. However, doctor was very friendly and relaxed. He said mine is a very small issue and it should go fine. Before starting the procedure he explained every step in details. I was having my extraction done for the very first time. So, when the doctor was going to inject a local anaesthesia he explained before hand what all will happen so that I do not panic. Post injecting it, the doctor had to wait for 10mins for the affect of anaesthesia to surface. The doctor took this time to ask me about my work and my family. After the anaesthesia started to work the doctor started the extraction procedure and ended with a stitch . In total it 30-45mins. Post this I had a follow-up in one weekstime to remove the stitch.
All-in-all I am very satisfying with the treatment.

Post my root canal treatment it was time to fit a cap. I had already done my tooth extraction and root canal in Vasan Dental Clinic, Pattom. So it was easy to find a prosthodontist(a specialization in restoring missing tooth). Dr Sapna was assigned to me. She welcomed me to her clinic and went through my previous treatment report. The entire team was in sync there was never any confusion.
In a few minutes the doctor straight aways started with what is going to be perform. A new tooth was going to be rooted. The doctor said there was multiple options of tooth available with full-ceramic to half-ceramic-half-silicon to full silicon. The price difference was huge. The full-silicon was like Rs 15k and the full ceramic was like Rs 6k. Dr Sapna explained me the full-silicon will be near to my existing tooth color and cerammic might not be. The doctor said if you do not want to spend much go with the Rs 6k and assured there is no difference except the colour. The doctor could have made money if she had to. So I went ahead with it.
Once the choice is made the doctor took my teeth impression on a clay like material and in few days time the final implant was performed. The doctor did a very neat work and I am happy with her work.
In the end the doctor gave a credit-card shaped card with Vasan Dental Clinic's name on it assuring 15 years guarantee for the ceramic cap.
