My Story:
When my son was 8 months old, he fell off bed at night and would not stop crying, we were scared to death and didn’t know what to do. We took him to Dr. Manju who was staying at the next apartment to ours. Even if it was midnight and she had just finished an unusual 48 hrs shift, she took time to examine my son, gave him a pen to hold to ensure motor movements and waited for some time after giving water to ensure he is not vomiting. She gave us assurance that everything is fine. We were so thankful to her and taking out her valuable time.
Thereafter, we went to her for fever and cold, she was a lecturer at Medical College at Kollam, but still she attended my kids. She takes care of small details quite well.
Once when my younger kid had cold and chest congestion, we consulted her and she told she could hear murmurs in his chest and suggested to get an ECHO scan. She also gave us recommendation for top Paediatric ECHO doctor for correct diagnosis. Once ECHO scan was done, we were relieved that everything was fine. She told that a week before she had a similar case and the kid actually had heart problem, but only because of early detection it was resolved with medication(avoiding surgery).
We were blessed to have a paediatric doctor near to our residence, she is always ready to address all our doubts and welcomes us with a great smile.
