My Child's Doctor Visit ( 3.5 years old) Excessive Snoring

My child developed severe snoring and lost weight, also resulting in loss of sleep after we shifted to Bengaluru from my hometown. We went to Cloud Nine Whitefiled Hospital for pediatric consultation, Whitefiled. We were then advised to see ENT expert Dr. Namrita Bopanna. She determined that my child had an adenoidal condition. Others advised us to have adenoids removed before proceeding, but Dr. Namrita Bopanna refused surgery as a first option for this aged child because she is so compassionate and discussed the risks of the surgery. We have complete faith in her and have begun medication under pedatric supervision (suggested by Dr. Namrita). Many others suggested that removing adenoids was the only choice, but Dr. Namirta personally guided us in utilizing the medication correctly and taking prompt action depending on my child's condition improvement. My child is doing well now, and medication has resolved 95% of his issues.

Dr Namrita Bopanna's key qualities are that she is very empathetic, very polite , honest and friendly when explaining and treating patients.

Best doctor I've ever come across. I visited her for Eardum Rupture, she did a detailed examination, explained me the course of medicines and precautions, she was extremely kind and patient to understand medical history and give advice on overall health. I followed up regularly and as said the desired result was on time.Dr.Namratha's is down to earth and very polite.Her affectionate behavior takes away our anxiety about the problem. she also carries a small medical book which explains various issues and reassures the healing process.And another amazing thing I've observed is, she actually remembers your issue and medical history even after you visit months later. She treats the concern and also gives advice for overall eating, sleeping and lifestyle habit which will ensure the speedy recovery process and also leads us to a healthy life. she treats us like a family member more and less of a patient.she truly has magic in healing her patients and a lovely person. *** ** *** ** *** **** *** ********** * *** ** ** **** * Let's share my experience for two occasions. 1) Nasal infection : There was nasal infection happened to me after visiting a vegetable market in Gulbarga. In the beginning it was not so severe so I ignored it . Later whenever I touch my nose I started seeing pain and slight blood coming in .I met few general physicians and issue was temporarily resolved but reoccured ! So finally I thought of visiting Dr Namrita Bopanna . I took my appointment in Apple clinic . She listened to my problem in detail and explained to me what was the issue and even she showed that issue details in one of the medical book which carried with her . She suggested medicine and explained how to take and all . The 6 months old problem resolved in week completely !!2) Severe Cough :This time I went with severe cough issue which was happening for more than 2 weeks . She keeps our medical history details . She asked me about my nosal infections . And again listened to my problem in detail & suggested medicines . This time cough was so severe ,it took 2 weeks to cure completely . With these two instances , she become like my family doctor for all ENT issues . She even addresses our query on WhatsApp after the follow-ups in case of any . Recently I took my mother for reactive airway bronchitis .Again she cured it !! I suggest everyone this doctor for all your ENT problems . God bless her !!

I have been consulting Dr. Namrita Bopanna for the past five years, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly caring and demonstrates a genuine concern for her patients' well-being. Unlike many others, she takes the time to understand the overall picture of your health before diving into the diagnosis, which makes you feel truly heard and valued.Her warm and polite demeanor immediately puts you at ease, and her friendly nature makes every visit a comfortable experience. We need more doctors like her who not only excel in their medical expertise but also bring a human touch to their practice. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional care she provides!

My visit was not a visit because the doctor started shouting at me the moment my friend and I stepped into her chamber!

I had booked an appointment for myself over phone in RIshabh clinic for the evening visiting hours . Later my friend wanted to consult her as well, so we tried calling the clinic to book an appointment for him but no one ever picked up (together we called about 5 times).

When we arrived at the clinic, we asked the reception person, whether we can book another appointment for my friend. The lady said it was fine to consult the doctor in the same appointment. So we waited for the doctor to arrive, so can request her directly.

However, immediately after the doctor arrived, we were told to go in. I did and we were greeted by an irate doctor, on why there's an extra person and how it creates 'unpleasant situations' and 'patient tantrums'. Clearly she was displeased with the way the reception person has dealt it without clearing with her first. However she chose to take it out on us, before we could even speak a word.

I interrupted her and after asking permission to speak (!), I tried explaining the situation and that it was okay if she declined to see my friend. However the conversation became more and more about how wrong this is, how hectic her schedule is and how unhelpful the reception people were. Instead of letting us speak or reprimanding the reception people, the doctor literally shouted at us, which was quite shocking. After I felt it was unfair and replied back to her very strongly, she relented and started to apologize.

But the conversation remained about whose fault it is and how unfair it is to the doctor. At this point, I decided to end this visit (about 5 to 7 minutes total) and told the doctor plainly that I am not interested to continue this, with all due respect. We walked away from there after that.

I'm fairly sure, after reading this review, the doctor will reply saying how it was my fault and how she did nothing wrong! Clearly the problem was the reception which should have been addressed appropriately. I understand that, but I also expect a minimum respect and decorum from the doctor when talking to a patient for the first time they are visiting!

Needless to say, I did not make any payment at the clinic, who did nothing to intervene or resolve the matter. Being a working professional, I consider my time to be as much valuable as the doctor's, and I believe I have a right to a decent conversation, even if I brought an extra person! This could have been told to me by various people; the receptionist, the person who let us into the chamber or the doctor herself, instead of this unpleasant experience.

Lastly, in my personal opinion, one visits a doctor when they are unwell. The least anyone can expect is compassion and patience, not an unfair and inappropriate lecture on scheduling doctor visits.

I would definitely not want anyone else to go through this experience.

Had a very pleasant visit. The doctor was patient and took her time examining me and explaining to me her diagnosis and the required treatment. For someone who has been seeing patients all morning, she was very calm and composed. Certainly would recommend her.

Whole process of Ear Piercing was done considering baby's comfort. It carried out with utmost Hygiene. Doctor not only examined ear, nose & throat but also She explained the whole process, position to hold the baby and Post Ear piercing Procedure. As a parent, I thank Doctor Namrita for her excellent services @ Cloudnine. I personally believe that traditional method is more painful, unhygienic and uncomfortable to Baby. We are proud that we took a right decision and My Baby was in safe hand during this process.

I am under her treatment for a fungal ear infection which was a mess before meeting her. Under her treatment, I am getting better. She has a lot of patience to hear patients' issues which most doctor lack behind. she gives step-by-step instructions . we need not hesitate to ask our clarifications multiple times. Most of the time doctors' prescription writing code or language is never understandable to the layman but in her case, it's so detailed and easy to follow. I travel from Hennur to Whitefield or old airport road ,cloud nine hospitals, to meet her as I feel very safe and confident to get treated under her for all ENT related issues. Bangalore is blessed to have a doctor like DR NAMRITA BOPANNA.

I first met this doctor 10 months ago when my daughter was less than 2 years and I am unsure what I would have done without her regarding my daughter's treatment. She is a doctor who listens with all patience. Has the smile on face, extremely polite which is pleasing amidst worry and panic. She was clear in explaining the medical condition and was open to all the questions that l asked her regarding this condition. Kids are non cooperative of examination with doctor, but she had all patience to console her and was never irritated. The best part is she answers to my messages always which is very relieving at times. during this time also Covid was no bar to me since our video consultations went so good and never was compromised. she also followed on how my daughter was feeling�� *** **** ****** *** ** ********* Cannot thank her enough🙂

I have been seeing white patches & pain in my throat from past 3 months. And I have shown to multiple big doctors (via conference/ video call) like PGI HOD, KGMC ENT HOD etc but everyone said that it is due to acidity.

After taking their medicines, I was only getting better for 4-5 days and then the same problem starts again.

But then after about 3 months of suffering, I went to Dr. Namrita after seeing good Practo review/score.
