A Heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Dinesh Rattnani

My grandfather, aged 77, has been living with high blood pressure and diabetes for more than eight years. For the past year, he had been suffering from severe back pain. We consulted several doctors, underwent multiple consultations, and finally, around three months ago, we received confirmation that he needed spine surgery.

That is when we met Dr. Dinesh Rattnani Sir.

From our very first interaction, he impressed us with his humble nature, caring attitude, and dedication towards his patients. He patiently explained the entire procedure, cleared all our doubts, and most importantly, gave us the confidence and reassurance we needed to move forward with the surgery.

My grandfather underwent Minimally Invasive L4-L5 Decompression with Pedicle Screw Fixation (L4-L5) and Cage Placement.

There is another important part of our journey that makes us even more grateful to him. Before proceeding with the spine surgery, my grandfather was diagnosed with serious heart blockages and needed angioplasty with stent placement. This was an unexpected and stressful situation for our family. Dr. Rattnani Sir guided and supported us through this challenging phase as well. After the heart procedure and the necessary recovery, my grandfather successfully underwent his spine surgery.

Today, seeing my grandfather walk comfortably and carry out his daily activities without the difficulties he experienced earlier fills our entire family with happiness. At 77, seeing him regain his mobility and confidence is truly a blessing.

For our family, Dr. Dinesh Rattnani Sir is more than just an excellent doctor. He is a genuinely compassionate human being who treats his patients with care, patience, and dedication. His reassuring words and confidence made a huge difference during one of the most difficult phases of our lives.

I visited Dr Sachin Arakere Nataraj at Max Hospital, Sector 128, Noida, with my 78-year-old father to discuss his prostate-related medical reports.

I booked two appointments. Both were scheduled for 10:30 AM.

10 October: We arrived on time. The doctor was unavailable, and his secretary could not be reached. We were eventually told he was in emergency surgery. Nobody had informed us beforehand. We were asked to see his junior, and we waited between 45 minutes and an hour before the doctor finally arrived.

26 October: I returned alone with my father's MRI report to discuss the next steps and spare him the travel. The doctor was reportedly in surgery again. The front-desk staff said they could not reach him. After waiting past 11:40 AM ******* * ***** ******* I left.

The same problem occurred twice in the same month.

Emergency surgeries are understandable. *** ******** **** ** ******* ************* ** **** Patients arrange their work and travel around appointments. My father is 78, and we should not have to discover the doctor's unavailability ourselves after reaching the hospital.**** *** ************ ****** ** ******* ******** ****** *** ******** ******** ********* *** ******** ********* ******** ******* ********* ******** ***** ********

Based on these two experiences, I would strongly advise patients to think carefully before booking an OPD appointment with this doctor. *** ****** ***** *** ******** ********* *** ** ********** ** *** *********** ********** *** ******* ************* *** **** ********* *****

I visited Dr. Vimal Upreti at his clinic on 6 August. He advised investigations, but the initial evaluation did not adequately address an important concern that was later identified in the report. ** *********** *** *********** ************* *** *** ******* ********** *** *** *** ******** ***** *** ************ ******* ** ** ** *** ******** *** ***** ***********

After receiving the report, I wanted to discuss the findings with the doctor and understand which tests need to be repeated, when they should be repeated, and what the next step should be.

Unfortunately, the clinic does not provide any direct way to contact the doctor. Every time, I had to call the clinic/receptionist. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly told that the staff would ask the doctor and get back to me, but no clear or conclusive response was provided.

Even after several follow-ups, I was unable to discuss the report and the important findings directly with the doctor.

I found this experience very ************** *** disappointing, particularly when dealing with potentially significant findings where timely clarification and proper follow-up are important.

The fact that an important concern was not addressed initially, ******** ** *** **** ** ****** ************* ***** *** ******* *** **** ** ********* *************

A doctor should not only prescribe tests and medicines but also take responsibility for reviewing significant findings and guiding the patient on the next steps. Unfortunately, I did not receive that level of care or communication here.
