I am writing this review after getting completely recovered from my disease with God's grace, my family and friends support and ofcourse the amazing treatment from Dr. Priyanka Goyal. I started my treatment with her from 16th July, 2019 after almost 11 months of struggling with my health condition myself. Although, I now regret that I was too late to start the treatment and was kind of sure at the back of my mind that nothing in this world can heal me now and it is part of my karma or my destiny to live the rest of my life like it. But, it all comes out to be wrong in a positive way.As it is rightly said that better late than never. Being a lady doctor, I was not also very comfortable with her sharing about my health issues and experiences completely. My brother took me to consult with her forcefully. Now, the treatment part. She started talking to me in my first visit, and tried to understand my mental and physical state. After almost 25 minutes of discussion, she realized that I am not even in the state of having a conversation and requested me to wait outside and discussed more details with my brother. She called me back and assured me that this state is temporary and we can definitely get over it. It happens with a lot of people in current stressful lifestyle. It is totally curable. Just have faith. I still did not believe what she said to me. But, as the time gradually passed, I started to have better sleep than before and my other symptoms also started to get reduced. She strongly suggested to take a break from my work as it was doing anything but help in my health condition and negative impact on my work performance at the same time. But, I decided to continue it as I used to live alone at that time and do not want to feel alone for complete days. She respected that and suggested not to over burden myself with work and said it is just a temporary state. I can have a bad year at work but I can definitely cover it later. Everything is temporary and of less importance than my health. But, also she still suggested to have small break from work. She was also very co-operative with my Mother and Brother during the consultation sessions, a good listener and tried to explain the medication reasons and change of dosage and update of medicines based on my and my family feedback. I confess that I was not being completely open to the doctor in my first visit, but with time she felt me to be more convenient to share my health condition in its full entirety. She also suggested strongly that I should have patience with my treatment and should not skip my medicines at all. The treatment will take time for getting completely healed (of around 6 months) and here I am writing my experience and journey of treatment. She also gave personal suggestions to me and my family like for my mother/father to stay with me for sometime, to have some sort of relaxing activities like listening to music, exercise, etc. daily so that my life can come back to normal as soon as possible and she can hence reduce the medicine dosage accordingly. Regular consultation and feedback really helped improve my health state day by day. Some emergency medicines were also prescribed by her in case of unavoidable circumstances like no sleep at all or no focus at all or for involuntary body movements or uncontrollable thoughts which were to be taken only when the situation is out of control. Luckily, I had to take very few of them. Also, the temporary side-effects of the medicines was very well explained by her. She also discussed in detail about my previous health history if any or any other disease that I may have been suffering from past some time and could have the impact on my current health state or triggered something negatively. The appointments keeps on getting distant apart as my health keeps on improving. I hada a gap of two months in my last two appointments. I am feeling better than normal now. And I am totally healed as per her. :)

So, I am writing this feedback after having met her 7 times and after getting my problem almost completely resolved. I had booked my appointment around 7 months back, and for the first two appointments I didn't even visit her. I must give the credit to my psychologist who was doing my therapy sessions , who convinced me that I should visit a psychiatrist, and take medical treatment alongside the therapy sessions to have a better response.

Only people who have mental health issues know how much they have to suffer. It took me 3 years to accept that i have a problem, i was having what is called as obsessive compulsive disorder for almost 4 years and i could start treatment only last year. Initially i saw a psychiatrist at lucknow, where i reside, but didnt feel any improvement. I was told about Dr Priyanka Goyal by my friend who lives in delhi and had taken treatment from her. I had to take train to see her everytime as her clinic is noida but it was so worth it.

Dr Priyanka is my third psychiatrist. I have been having symptoms of OCD for last 11 years and have tried treatment twice. Finally met mam around 4 months back. The best quality of hers was her clarity of thought. She immediately told me that it will take some time before medicines can show effect and asked me to wait, I must say that its a frustrating thing to wait for symptoms to get better. But finally I did start feeling well. My improvement has been steady and although I still cant say that I am completely cured but for sure , I am better by 80 percent. Dr Priyanka explains the reason for changes in dosage and I feel that she doesnt prescribe unnecessary pills. She also has a therapy doctor who took my sessions, and the sessions have also been helpful. A couple of things that could be improved, she is not usually available on phone, and if one has any doubt, the staff asks to whats app the doctor. I wish we could have a quick converstaion but I guess that since she is with other patients, that doesnt happen. Also fees is slightly on higher side. In fact all psychiatrists have higher fees in comparison to other doctors
